Guardian Angels Q and A
Are you guys vigilantes?
No. We are lawful citizens trained to provide public safety, community outreach, and medical aid. Vigilantes are often lawbreakers who decide who is guilty and then punish them outside the law.
Are you guys a cult?
We are neither religious nor a cult, although we allow members to practice whatever religion they want. We are an open organization with no hidden rules, agendas, or hand shakes. By being transparent, the communities we serve are more likely to trust us and work with us.
Are you guys a gang?
We do not commit crimes. We do not sell or use drugs. We do not carry or use guns. We do not endorse discrimination against and exploitation of women.
Are you guys a bunch of snitches?
We do not usually pursue minor and non-violent crimes. We could care less if you jaywalk or litter. However, if you knew a guy just raped your sister or beat up your mother for her purse, would you snitch on him? I bet you would. We consider all violent crime victims a part of our collective family and we WILL protect them.
Are you guys just a bunch of Fascist thugs out to cause more trouble?
First of all, Fascists support an authoritarian, militant regime that is often racist. Under a Fascist system, citizen organizations like ours would be outlawed and our members persecuted if not executed. We're quite happy with the freedom we have to help our communities as we see fit and not how the government dictates. I seriously doubt that having more citizens watching out for each other on the streets causes more trouble.

No. We have Democrats and Republicans, leftists and right-wingers, libertarians, apathists, whatever. JFK said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." and HW Bush called upon Americans to volunteer more and initiated A Thousand Points of Light. We first started in poor, minority filled ghettos with minority members. We now have rich and poor, left and right, straight and gay, Arab and Jew, Asian, black, Latino, white, you name it. What other organizations can claim such diversity as well as such diversity all working together?
What kind of accountability do you have?
Since we have no special authority, we do not need special oversight by government bodies. We are restricted by the same laws as any citizen. None-the-less, we screen and monitor all our

2.Public safety education.
3,Self-defense classes.
4.Internet safety and support programs.
5.In school and after school youth development programs.
6.Disaster assistance.
7.Assistance to other community service organizations.
The International Alliance of Guardian Angels is a 5 (C) (3) non-profit organization established in 1979.
We are actively looking for volunteers in the Riverside and San Bernardino County areas. Volunteers can provide community protection in many ways including.
1. Safety Patrols.
2. Marketing and Recruitment.
3. Community and Media Relations.
4. Youth Programs.
5. Fund-Raising and Grant Writing.
6. Television Productions.
7. Special Events.
The Safety Patrol is the foundation of our organization. There is nothing like the real-life test of patrolling crime-infested streets and making a difference in the lives of families imprisoned in their own neighborhoods. Due to the high demands of staying safe and continual real-life pratice, you will gain a more practical understanding of the following concepts.

8. Integrity.
If you remember the Guardian Angels from its early years in the Bronx, you may be surprised at how much we have grown. We now have chapters around the world including chapters in Japan, Europe, Philippines, Australia, Canada, South America, Africa, and throughout the United States.
