As a Leo, I'd prefer a Scorpio. Can cater me emotionally, but independent. Cancer, at times too emotional. Sags, at times not too faithful. Aquarius, at times too detached.

many of these leo sun men who post here have strong water placements or strong water houses, so they tend to want clingier, possessive love.

Damn girl, this has gotten out of hand now.
There are only one or two Leo males on this site who have ever said anything positive about Cancer women.
And you blow it up to mean they prefer Cancer women over anyone else.
Furthermore, the OP asked if Leo males liked clingy women, then you proceed to call out Cancer women as clingy.

Assumption? You say it in every post you make. You plastered it on the home page. You don't like Cancers.

Actually a Cancer called you out on the home page. You keep talking about the world. What world your world? Read your post above this one. We get it you don't like them. It's almost like you are trying to make other Leos not like them.

I can tell you there are thousands of happily married Cancer and Leo couples. Why don't you want to believe that?

I can see that. It is interesting to see the deference between Female and Male Leo's. I could not be with a clingy male. Affectionate, yes. But dang, be a man. 🙂 My Leo and I were talking the other day and he said I was clingy....uh no. I gave him the look of death. He next said, but I like clingy (which I was taken aback) and then further explained in so many words it shows the level a person appreciates what he does and cares for him. I told him I get he was taken advantage of and not appreciated all his life but clinginess doesn't equate those internal or external feeling from someone but interns shows someone with low self esteem incapable of self thought, action or assurance.

I did tell him I have allowed myself to be more dependent on him which makes me feel vulnerable, but only shows how much trust I do have in him as I have given up areas of control.

I guess I can see how a Leo male would like clingness but can't comprehend why, especially as I see it as weak trait.

But there's a difference between a deep, satisfying emotional connection that is your soft place to fall (or land in just because), and "clinginess." The latter carries with it emotional extremes, over-dependency/co-dependency, and likely emotional lability.

Most of these are symptoms of insecurity, which in turn, comes from any number of things in a person's past and has nothing at all to do with current externalities: as in, the insecurity will be there irrespective of the existence of a partner, and really has nothing to do with a partner.

We all know this anyway, but it's worth repeating the distinction from time to time.

Ohhh so that's it!!! My Venus is in Leo.
I have always desired a man who makes me feel like a woman.
There is something delicious about how my body tingles just standing next to him.
It's a very rare feeling.

Is there a proper term for that, making one feel like a man/woman?
