leo EGO v. scorp EGO

which one is the strongest? Everybody keeps saying how leos have such big egos and how they are full of themselves....but maybe scorps should take the prize for that...?!!!!
eventually i think the scorp ego bends the leo ego..maybe because scorps are more patient and can hold a grudge for longer or make a plan about how to treat a person and stick to it.... why can't a leo do that?

agree ..unless it sth very important..i mean i have alienated friends out of my life because they did sth bad to me....i do talk to them and i have forgiven them...but i never trust them ... they ve lost the place they had in my life... that is true! the only thing leos need to work on though and that is really important to me..is choosing more carefully the people we trust... I wish i could read people more easily from the beginning instead of rushing to live the moment and have fun!

Yes I guess its true... Scorpios initially are nice people. When they mix with people, it seems to ignite a kind of insecurity in them eventually building a sort of grudge sometimes even towards a society. But many cases this grudge dies as and when they move forward in life. But those scorpios who gets stuck in life holds this grudge and have made many situations worse.

But when it comes to EGO, i havent faced issues from scorpio but always had issues with leo. Scorpio seems to be a bit stubborn but slowly will give it your way if they really feel that you are right. Leo will give it your way if they like you and have some trust in you.

Scorpio is a good listner and not oversensitive like Leo. So most cases I was sucessful in explaining things to a scorpio compared to a Leo. If Leo gets annoyed at the beginning of a conversation, he stays annoyed and have never bothered to rethink.

(These are my own observation from my own interactions with many Scorpios and Leos. Could be a connection troubles btween Libra I guess) 😉

Yeah this is a tough call and I think the individual situation will indicate which sign's ego will dominate. Scorpio will get tetchy for diverse reasons and be quietly cunning whereas a Leo will be more predictable in their prejudices, resenting anyone who doesn't give them due pomp, ceremony and respect.

A leo doesn't see it. They don't think of reasons why they should not be prideful...Attacking a leo, you are giving them a reason that they have not thought of...you are planting ideas into their mind...And the stronger you enforce it, the harder it hurts them...

I don't think scorpios see themselves as great as leos naturally do.

don;t think that is true... leos have insecurities as well ... What is true about leos is that they have a basic self esteem in that they think they are ok ..will never think very low of themselves... after that it all depends.... most of my friends are leos and they are insecure about lots of stuff..i think it is mostly their appearance though... don;t know why... They seem more confident when it comes to other things like work and studying for example.... they are more insecure when it comes to their physical appearance and relationships... Strange! I just realised that it is so!

depends on the kind of the conversation... this may be true in cases where the conversation is about them directly... if it is a more general conversation i would say that most leos are prepared to listen... i think there is a confusion here... because what most leos do is ....they act like the devil's advocate in a conversation.... if the other person makes too strong of a point.. then so will the leo....even if they don't really believe that strongly what they say...

I don't associate Scorps with ego at all.

Scorps want power but that is different than ego.

Libra/Leo egos are more comparable I think.

When you attack an ego of a scorpio, we tend to already have thought of all the reasons why we should not think highly of ourselves...you may only be reinforcing that thought.....

I do this and I am not a scorp lol. I think the ego is strong in both signs. This is really a difficult call. Because both signs hate to lose. I do however imagine the scorpio would keep pressing on even if it had already been determined that he has lost (say in a matter of competition) Someone who will succeed at all costs. If it were up to me, I would have to say Scorpio wins this one.

It's that sense of "self" that I would imagine helps scorpio accomplish these things in the first place. The ego drives you, the pride comes with accomplishment.

Absolutley, basing this on sun signs alone. The scorpio child may not be the social butterfly, but I think the need to succeed and conquer are still strong. Losing would seem to affect the scorp child more. Which may add to the natural "low self esteem" but also fuels the desire to win at all costs. No matter what(power). My son has scorpio rising and I see this in him. It may not be shown outwardly but it is still there. Ego and passion is what makes the most successful scorps. The reasons a leo/scorp have a strong ego are very different from one another but still strong in both signs. I won't go into why a leo is egotistical because we all know LEOS ARE and the general reason for it lol.. Where leos fail is when they base everything on the reaction they will get from others and this boosts them up. Unfortunatley as soon as the attention is gone, the typical leo person will crash. I don't think a scorp gives a shit about reactions BECAUSE their sense of self is so strong. Not because there is no ego. Yes, ego is how you see yourself compared to other people. I see this as fueling the scorp more (competitive). It is just hidden.I have a hard time debating this with you though because you have like 5 million scorp placements and I only have 1 leo placement that I can't even relate to, and well, I am sure I know nothing lol

Do you think you would eventually want to learn more because of that? More than even the first five planets? If you look at the degrees of your air and water sign placements between you two, that always helps too. Within 8 degrees is an aspect.

I know you didn't ask me for that info lol It just seems like you would take it farther than most. To want to find out the real reason why if you base it on astrology.

You can still get a pretty good idea of the degrees of mercury on down. Just not the houses or moon degrees because it changes on the hour. The outter planets don't change by the day and the immediate ones (merc down) may only change by one or two degrees a day. Those aspects would be accurate. So that would help add more to what you want to know. It may not be everything but it's something.
