Leos are know for their strong and smart personality. They can handle pretty much anything. There is a girl whom I work with. I have been very nice to her from the beginning, and treat her like a friend. Recently, I found out she has been tattletaling on me to manager, without any truth to it. I also noticed she also acts / shows bullying behavior towards me. My question is Leos, how do you deal with bullies or people backstabbing you at work ?

At work-- hmm, totally differently than I would elsewhere.
That is your livelihood, I imagine, and so (for me, anyway) the rules are a bit different.
I would go over her head, straight to the manager if I thought my job was at stake-- idgaf what the co-worker thinks.
And I would keep a record of any incidents that occur for which you think you could possibly be thrown under the bus.
I can't say it enough-- Cover. Your. Ass.
Like Leoliza said-- she's probably jealous; she is somehow threatened by you, regardless of how friendly you may have been.
As far as 'dealing' with her-- I would be cordial, and I would keep it all professional.
I wouldn't socialize with her, offer her any extra info about my personal life, nor would I do her any favors.
Also, you mentioned 'tattling'-- and though it was 'false', I certainly wouldn't give her an opportunity to catch me doing anything wrong (not that you would).
Some people are just ugly.
😉

The few times this has happened it usually ends with some life altering event for the other person.
Because it is at work I would say more rapier, less hammer.
But they should look themselves in the mirror in the morning for the rest of their life, and have it be the first memory of the day.

When I was in the 4th grade I used captured bees I released from a jar on a kid I knew was allergic, after he and his friends had repeatedly beaten me up. Needless to say he almost died and came back from the hospital a mere husk of himself several weeks later. I told the parents that he tried to stealth bees, thusly covering the deed. Anyways, there is always a way to win.

Thank you guys. Leoliza, you are very right. She used to ask me many personal questions and I would tell her, considering her a friend. Now I look back, I realize that she was never open about her personal life. I did try to clear my
Basically, what she did was an attempt to fire me because I am more intelligent than her. What a fool ! I do not want to confront her because I care about my image, and do not want other coworkers to gossip. I guess this happened for a reason, never be too friendly with your coworkers, because people are jealous. Lesson learned.

Small correction, mercury is Leo & mars is Sagittarius ...

Tiziani,
Any kind of confrontation would have to be so covert it would take an actual Leo to engage in it. It would take some serious stealth, because its at work.

I'd have them tripping over their own dick though, no matter how long it took.

There is the subtle insertion of the bad idea that they think is their own, this takes time and opportunity though.
For instance,
One time there was someone that was complaining about programming protocol, I sympathized with them and said that when the doctors make the protocol the details should be provided, naturally they screwed up at some point and tried to blame the physicians to the manager. It was a silly claim, cuz it was their job to know the particulars of the physics. They were just to lazy to learn how to program the machine.

Wow-- I'm totally not like that. Maybe you have other factors at work in your chart (or I do). 😉
People in the midst of 'dirty work' don't want you to shine a light on what they've done to you.
So I make it a point to drag it into the light, in front of God and everybody.
They usually count on you being fearful of what they have done or will do (e.g. I'll tell the manager!).
F*ck them, I'll tell the manager, myself; if I've done nothing wrong, I'm not worried.

Nah, I just give a toothy grin and wait.

Yeah, tiz managers are way too nice. 😉

Interesting, the differences between Leos when it comes to this kind of situation.
Though, clearly, no one would "let it go". *rolls eyes*
Leoliza and I seem to be of the same mind when it comes to cya/you're dead to me.
I have a Taurus asc/Pisces moon.
But Mountain "stealth" Leo, would hide/pounce when they least expect it.
You have Leo asc/Aquarius moon.
Gandalf would commence operation mindf*ck.
What about you, Gandalf-- Leoliza?
What else is hanging out in your charts-- or is that privileged info? 🙂

I don't know, going to management seems like a waste of time, went you can enjoy the sweet richness of someone who wronged you make a fool out of themselves cuz you filled their head with nonsense. It was fun to hear the manager repeat the job description where it says "programming the machines".
Que toothy grin.
Now they never get taken seriously again and they can complain all they want to no effect. Coup de Graz.

I'm on a Leo/Virgo cusp
Libra Moon
Sag Rising
Venus in Cancer
Ahh.
I have Venus in Virgo-- didn't think to include that.
Thanks 🙂

Very much the same. I mean, obviously...I did that earlier today. Worked magnificently by the way.
Yeah, you did.

Actually this came up today. Montgomery gives solid advice, and I actually did go straight to the top.
I work in Customer Service / digital marketing. A very crazy customer was not satisfied with our policy and somehow got our president's email address. Now this is very hard to do..but he doesn't even read his own emails...so his secretary just forwarded it back to me to take care of. In any event, this customer decided to go above and around the entire system, therefore threatening my job over....a half bottle of perfume. Now, I was in no way in the wrong here. But, because I thought it could damage my image, or I don't want people talking..who knows..I printed the email out immediately and took it to the Vice President, who I have access to. It was a good opportunity to chat with him since my boss is out, explain the situation, and also ask his advice (which he loves giving. Also another Leo). In doing this I a) covered my ass b) got visibility with the vice president and c) flattered him by asking him to assist.
Win win win.
Don't even speak to that girl anymore. Don't act mad, act unaffected.click to expand
Sounds like it should have been resolved with the President's secretary, who seems lazy, tbh-- you wouldn't have forwarded to the President if you felt management didn't need to be aware.
So I also see that as insurance the next time anything unfavorable happens; you (not lazy) have a documented history of properly handling "situations."
Good on you.
🙂

Leo,
First of all, the manager doesn't want a bunch of people running in and out of their office until and or unless they are called in. Otherwise you should not be engaging in drama, ergo working. In your case it was fine because you were dealing with a customer issue and not a bully coworker, which are very different issues. A bully coworker is a threat to you, and your family by way of your job. So they do need to be dealt with.
The manager is smart enough to figure out on their own if false accusations have merit, otherwise you should be working hard to make a good case for yourself, not bumping your gums with coworkers or in his office. If it is a false accusation the bully has taken care of themselves, cuz when you do get called in he or she will remember you were the one working, and you can say that you saw what was happening but didn't want to engage wasting his or the companies most precious resource. Time.
Now you have their respect, next you gain the bullies trust. To do this you must understand your bully, they come in 2 types. Smart, and stupid. They are usually stupid. Anyways to gain their trust you must make them look good, give them advice in critical situations which lead to accolade, take no credit for it, or maybe do something as simple as helping them avoid a bad mistake. It may take a while to over come their suspicion, but keep at it.
It is simply a matter of time now, your work stands on its own merit, the manager is already tired of the bully for showing up in their office all the time uninvited, and now they are at your mercy. That is how to deal with a bully.

Leoliza,
If they started a war with me I can assure you they are both stupid and making bad choices & and I'm going be the hand of Darwin.

Leoliza,
I know it isn't about me, but someone asked what a Leo would do about a bully, and mostly it looked like a bunch of mealy mouthed handwringing and running off to the manager to squeal like a little piglet.

@Namesake,
Leo would have you cowering in fear over our ability to gravel before the manager pleading for help, or whatever else they could do to intercede for us.
