The txt "fight". Right now, he and I haven't txted or anything since Saturday, when I did say I was sorry for my piece and (because I wanted to see him so badly I was willing to be pathetic) begged to see him that night. He just texted "Stop it!!!" and I asked "Stop what? Talking to you?"

He never answered and so I stopped.

I don't believe his text meant he was done with us, just wanted a break from the drama. Of course, I'm dying to move on and get back to normal, but don't really want to be the one now to say anything. This is really hard and I keep finding myself thinking of things to say to get this moving.

Do I need to wait til he comes around or has time to miss me?

Is this his way of "punishing" me? Where might his head be?

And do you think that its good to fight with Leo a little to show I'm not a complete wuss for him? Like it was said - and I totally agreed - in the Aries forum, WE have no respect for someone who will not push back sometimes. I hate puppy-dog men. Are Leo's the same in that? Can an occasional fight actually be a good thing?

IMO when he meant stop, he means stop suffocating him. Give him time to breathe and mull things over . He doesn't want to make a rash decision in the heat of the moment

Put yourself in his shoes, and act accordingly to the way you would like to be treated

And yes. As immature as this sounds I too use silence as punishment. It's the biggest noise you can make . But I utilize it too not only calm myself and think things through but a moment for the other to compose themselves also and get back to the person they were

Yes, this sounds like him. Both in not wanting to be suffocated and wanting me to get back to being the person he likes being with.

I'm seriously not sure I can put myself in his shoes. LOL...I am impatient and from what I've seen in him, he is the ultimate in patience. I swear time moves very differently for you folks. As an Aries I want to take you by the shoulders and shake you while yelling "We're wasting time! We're wasting time! Come on, come on, come on!!!"

Ok, so wait for word from him??

he must have other things in his chart that dominate his leoness because i know i dont have the gift for patience. i have to take meds for that. i am just like you when it comes to it, and it sure is a learning process

and yes...give him time. i say that if three days go by and you havent heard from him, shoot him a text and let him know that you miss him and that you are thinking of him. us leos tend to get hurt easily when we think that our loved ones isnt thinking about us, and doesnt want us. so dont let too much time go by, but allow him enough time to think

Could be his age too. I hear the young lions are the impatient ones. We're both 43.

Good advice. Thanks! I really like this board. Some cool peeps here. 🙂

We don't "punish with silence". That said there are 2 possible reasons for his silence if he isn't "done".

1- He has nothing good to say, so he doesn't want to say something hurtful.

2- we don't waste words, they have meaning. Sometimes it takes a while to get the right ones in order.

Be patient he thinks deeply upon any panicked messages you send, because he assumes you chose words wisely too.

The more you say, the more he has to consider at this point. I've been in situations like this before where the other person kept texting and I just gave up because it just got too complicated to answer back. If you are burning to say something, just "I love you" says it all.

He's told me he does this. By the way this thread is a lil old... we resolved that and moved onto the next issue. lol. and now I put us on a "break" because we just kept pissing each other off.
