ya, so I have heard...I get on one months ago and see this guy that looks totally familiar.
so I call the guy up and tell him there is this guy that looks just like him on this site- he says ya, its my brother. (both gemini's)
turns out the pic of this guy with the cute little girl- is an old photo as the girl is now like in her early teens (using the girl as a pawn)
his brother was like - he's a dog...so funny
so, in essence I figure how many truthful dudes on these things vs. how many just wanna fling? It's a "small town" around here

LOL.....its also common knowledge that the majority use such antiquated photos that hardly resemble them to lure people in (i mean honestly, whats the point??) or use photos of other people (again, honestly!!!) and arent' we all so damned great behind a screen?
The best advice? be very careful and make sure you're actually talking to the person they portray to be and dont be surprised if/when you meet in real life that the hunk with the huge biceps and adorable smile is in actual fact 10 years older and 40 pounds heavier with biceps that turned into blubber LOL.

no, I am not either. the only reason I got on one in the 1st place was last yr. when a guy I had dated emailed me. I was like, since when do you email me— I knew then that he was on a dating site and sure enuff...
the funny ones are the guys that post their photos and you can totally tell that they are 10(+) years older just based on what they are wearing or the photo style that was used...

The ones you really have to wonder about are those who are on there for years....Ive seen people (men and women) who have had the same profile dated back to 2003...thats FIVE LONG YEARS on a site, one must wonder eh?
The insane part about the old photos up and then meeting people in real life, WTF do they think will happen once they meet somebody who has been honest about their age/looks, etc when they meet the person who has lied their way in meeting them? I guess it would take people a lot of time to get used to being totally honest. Normally it happens by the time they celebrate their 50th bday.
