Is there a certain sign that is more open to being friends with benefits? 🙂
I've dated a lot and have been in one lengthy relationship (I'm 21). The problem is, I always hurt the girls that I date! I usually date someone who strikes my curiosity and soon after, my Libra tendencies strike: I put my partner on a pedestal and begin highlighting all of their best qualities, digging for anything interesting along the way. And soon after, usually two to three months, I run. I have a major problem with commitment. And the girls that I date always want a commitment because they fall in love with me, fast. It is my fault though, I know I am more affectionate than most guys and I get tons of excitement in seducing the opposite sex (I do this by impressing women, I don't do things like say "I love you" or talk about "our future" etc). What sign(s) can enjoy the chivalry of Libras without falling into our web? I would rather not be known as a heartbreaker, because this is honestly not my intention.
I'm also curious to hear of signs that anyone has found to be good one night stands 🙂 I've actually never had a one night stand, but I've had sex with ten people. I've never really tried as it is only a one time thing and it seems like a waste of time unless there is amazing sex involved. (so any signs that are promiscuous/great in the bed)

Ahhh.. young Libras. You seem very typical of a young and immature Libra. Of course you don't MEAN to hurt all these girls, it just keeps happening, over and over. No, it's not malicious... you're just being your charming Libra self and throwing yourself headlong into the relationship to see how it goes.. but she's been unfortunate enough to get caught up in the fantasy you were selling.. but not buying yourself, because you're not getting emotionally attached while you're still actually weighing and measuring everything underneath your Mr. Perfect Boyfriend persona.

I predict a Sag or an Aqua girl will "out-detach" you and wrap your Libra heart around her little finger before she crushes it under her fashionable boot heel.. and perhaps teach you a valuable lesson about being more careful with people's emotions. Yes indeed.. the "mature" Libras I've known.. every one of them got schooled by a Sag or an Aqua in the past, and was left clutching his shredded, bleeding heart. Yours will happen too, and rather like a deer in the headlights, you'll be powerless to stop it happening.

Lemme get this right. You're a casanova, looking for good sex, but not a long-term relationship. All you wanna do is have great sex without the attachment factor. Simple! Stick to one night stands. Yeah, I see that you don't like to do one night stand, but life's a bitch and you don't get everything. Based on what you've mentioned in regards to what you're looking for and commitment phobe, it only points to one night stand.

Lastly, if you sleep with a girl for as long as 2-3 months and are sappy the way you claim to be, I'm sure they get attached to you. Mind you, most guys are romantic and go out of their way in the honeymoon phase. Trouble starts for couples once things start to settle, which is about 2-3 months later. As for getting attached, that happens to most girls, unless she's a playette.

Soon after I posted this I realized that this is not the right forum to post sexual questions. I was just poking fun at the idea of a more promiscuous sign. The sexuality of my post was more for fun than serious.

By the way, I recently stopped dating a Scorpio who was the cutest/sweetest girl I have ever met. This excited me because it seems that I ALWAYS attract the promiscuous girls and she was so innocent. Come to find out that she had more than twenty partners. #1 This made me feel that I want to go out and have some one night stands, maybe make some bad decisions, you only live once and I am in college. #2 I came the realization that I will always be seen as too sexual a person and that I should just embrace it as my Scorpio has.

"I predict a Sag or an Aqua girl will "out-detach" you and wrap your Libra heart around her little finger before she crushes it under her fashionable boot heel.."
I am not opposed to this, so thanks for the advice! Haha and Nefer, I probably am too reckless with other's emotions, but I was in a relationship with an Aries for three years and she cheated on me. Never again will I go against my instincts and ever since then I want to experience as many different girls as possible. I'm extremely interested in the opposite sex; it's a personal growth thing. AND I do not sell a fantasy. This is one of the first things I learned NOT to do. I let girls know from the beginning that I am just looking for a good time and that dating me WILL end up as another fling. I date adults and I expect them to make adult decisions.

"You've had 11 sexual partners? I consider that quite a lot for someone of 21. Perhaps you need to slow down a bit. Your hormones are kicking in before your brain cells."
11 sexual partners is a lot for someone who is 21? I guess I never thought about it. I spent a lot of time hanging out with my brother and sister (both five years older) when I was young (they are partiers). Maybe this contributed? Now that I am in college I realize that I lost my innocence at too young an age. Oh well.

"Oh! And I forgot, get a girl with venus is aqua. She'll fix you good! lol. Then you'll evolve into a phase 2 libra. From the phase one "I just wanna have fun and I never get attached" libra to the "bleeding heart, love is a losing game" libra."
Thanks for the advice acquarius09! I have an Aquarius girl in mind! I have heard that Aquarius is detached, this is perfect for me. "Evolving into phase 2" sounds fun, though I

have been on the "love is a losing game" train for a long time already 😛 I'm hoping that somewhere down the line I will get my heart back, maybe an Aquarius could help me with that?

Your welcome. Let's see where this Aqua chick of yours take you. From your initial posting, it doesn't seem like you've been on the love losing train. Aren't you not lookig for love? Anyways, good luck with this aqua chick. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a losing game ; because it usually does with an immature libra who has yet to mature.

Nefer you better say it girl! Lol. My saggy ex is one of the main reasons I am ready to kick up my heels very fast and run in relationships. I already had that whole in-and-out thing bad, but now I do it more often to protect my heart at the 1st sight of bull, im ghost. My friends have to keep me grounded sometimes. A sagg will have your heart and mind spinning so fast you will be dizzy when its all over, and you wont even remember how you got there. Sagg and Aqua's have the charm trait, but they will disspear and re-appear you will never be bord, but you'd be wise to let them fall first. Just like with a libra man. He MUST fall first.

awwwww .. what's wrong with hyenas ?

Exactly my sentiments on hyenas, osf. lol. Btw I noticed that you're a fan of tupac. I don't know how familiar you are with his work, but I'm lookig for a poem by him. It's about a rose, and I believe it was dedicated to Jada Pinkett. I've been looking for it, but can't find it 😢

This?

The Rose That Grew From Concrete

Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping it's dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared.

Tupac Shakur

Thank you so much! You're my dxp fav now 😄 Times like these I pat myself on the back for knowing better than to dislike libras.

o-o-okay .. truuth is ..

I.. I.. heard him ta-talk .. about that poem ..
beeefore ... I got a chaaance to read it 😛

Thank you for this 😄 I really wanted to know the interpretation of this poem, and who best to tell than the author!! When I was younger, I did something foolish called pre-judging. I pre-judged Tupac to be this ghetto guy who's into drugs and was a gangster and all. My libra ex and my cousin are 2 biggest fans of Tupac, and both of them are people I considered to be deep thinkers. And I thought to myself that there must be something more to Mr. Shakur than meets the eye. My ex read me couple of his poems, and since I love poetry, I decided to check the guy out. He was an exceptional writer and thinker, considering his upbringing and environment he grew up in. Anyone that is resilient enough to prosper when they have faced nothing but hard times is an exemplary person to me. It's hard to be yourself or to not conform to the masses in a world that's constantly trying to change you. Definitely an intellectual. It's sad to lose a man of his calibre.

I saw that a video was posted but I haven't watched it yet (need to wait til I get home tonight). I view the rose as a person who transcended the circumstances they were born into. Many people who are born into 'bad' situations (poor family, bad area, bad parents, neglect, abuse, whatever it is) are never able to see beyond their situation and end up letting it control them. They fall into the victim mindset. They believe nothing is expected of them so they expect nothing of themselves. A rose that grows in concrete should not survive, yet this one did. This rose said it didn't matter where it grew, the important thing is that it did in fact grow. The rose didn't need feet to walk and we don't need circumstances to be perfect (or even good) in order for us to do good things. It is here now and it will 'keep its dreams'. People are much more in control of our lives than many of us admit or believe. Just as the rose learned to breathe fresh air, we can learn to adapt to our environments. Not just adapt and survive, but adapt and thrive. To me, this is a poem of hope and perseverance. Don't give in to your surroundings, succeed despite them!

*sigh*
I was trying to be a lil offensive .. epic fail 😢

I try not to use labels such as stupid, ignorant etc

I think many folks are simply unaware ..
by unaware I mean poorly in touch w/ their intuitive & mental abilities

we focus most of our energy on doing whatever it takes to gain social recognition, since we've been taught way early to doubt, depreciate the power of our own, individual mind .. someone who dares to venture outside the box, explore the potential of his/her mind will take a lot of heat 4 that (at least in this 'modern' society).. better get back in line or you'll be shut down ! that's what happened to Tupac and many others

crazy world

When I start liking my own gender, ill come back and take offense to it. Would that make that frown upside down? 🙂

I strongly agree with your post, especially because it's more than one liner. lol jkz jkz. I would like to add that trying to make someone conform is psychological oppression. And anyone who was able to see past the "norm" aka outside of the box thinker was eliminated. We have very few examples other than Tupac. Malcolm x, Gandhi, Mukhtar Mai (who is yet to be eliminated). Our world is a prime example of the national bestseller by Lowry. "The giver" or even 1984 by Orwell. My fav novel in grade 8. Our world isn't as tolerant as we would like it to believe.

Awesome! You totally got it! When you watch the video, youll be hearing it from the horse's mouth. Now lemme ask you something. If you didnt know Tupac wrote this, would you have interpret it that way? Nevertheless, I do find libras to be genius in arts and poetry. Nobody surpasses them in these subjects. So I'm not really surprised that you got it right.

Yes, I believe the interpretation would have been the same if I had not known who wrote it. It is hard to say though because I do take the artist into consideration when trying to see what they are saying. If you understand the speaker it is much easier to understand their words. Admittedly, I don't know much about tupac. I remember some of his music, I remember 2 or 3 movies he was in, and I remember him dying. I do know that there was a recurring theme of rising above troubles in his arts though.

I believe that knowing about the author helps to understand what their writing/work is about. Liking a quote or anything for its face value doesn't do justice to the art in question. I try to know the artist before interpreting their work.

truth is you will not be able to have a nsa relationship. Why because you will feel balanced when you have a partner. I fear commitment. Ran away from two engagements, eventually married and started running again.. If you want a friend who no matter how hard you try you will still develop feelings then try a sag. Why because they are just as afraid but bottom line they want someone..As long as commitment and future does not get brought up.. I am not conceided however without even trying I landed a sag who does it all for me... I ignored him, I was pretty much rude as it gets and it made him want me more and more.. Always use a condom.. truth in the booth
