Libra, pets, and dying

How would you help a Libra out who has to put their dog down suddenly?

that's a tuffy. i can only speak of my experiences with my libra. he shows saddness as anger first. so, not taking some of the things, he might say, personally is a start. i know that he will need time, on his own, to sort things out. so, i would let him know that i will be there when HE'S ready and let him have the chance to grieve on his own. sometimes, he will take me up on that offer and sometimes he won't. sometimes, all he needs to hear are those words. just to let him know that he's not alone in this.
