moon signs in relationships

do you guys find that your moon sign and sun sign compatibility works better in romatic relationships or friendships.
for example:
my moon sign is 19 degrees in cancer. i've found that i get along pretty well with cancers as friends, but never was romantically interested in a cancer (exept 1 exception). but i will say that i have a few friends with cancer boyfriends and they seem to have the characteristics that i would want my boyfriend to have.

my question is in your experience with present and past relationships did you find that a sun sign mate that trined you moon sign is the best compatibility in a romatic relationship or is a indicator of a good friendship?

i should add that I've dated a virgo with a cancer moon, and also talked to a couple of men with scorpio moon(suppose to be compatible with cancer moon), 1 aquarious, 1 scorpio. but there was no chemistry or spark. im wondering if we have 2 much in common which could make things pretty boring.

It is hard for me to comment because my moon is in Leo which is highly compatible with all the same signs that Libra is. Plus my rising is a Sag and my venus and mars are in Libra. As a result, I tend to get along VERY well with Fire and Air people.

But I can't say if it is the moon, rising, or all the Libra planets because they all get along with the same qualities anyway. *shrug*

My moon is in Libra. Im attracted to Libras like there's no tomorrow. Each and every one of my Libran friends have made a big mark (very good asset) to my life. Unfortunately its hard when the sign your moon is attracted to doesn't reciprocate. For now I'm into (textbook) learning about them .. I don't like predeterminations, I believe in educating ourselves to get past reasonable misunderstandings etc

Well, my moon is in Scorpio and I always attract sun/ascendent Scorpios. As for the dating, we'll start off that way but then it'll taper off into friendship. I don't know why this is though. 😢 I love them though!

i actually have a few libra moon friends and we get along pretty well. ironically had a libra moon boyfriend and i could never understand him emotionally. in the past i've attracted virgos alot. lately im noticing im attracting a lot of cancers and scorpio moon men. but im puzzled because according to astrology im suppose to get along with them very well. they're alllll getting on my nerves. i only c the cancer men as friends and scorpio moon men OMG!... they are soooooooooooo persistant. I CANT TAKE IT! i dnt lik n e of them either. i give everyone a fair chance but im tryna 2 get 2 the root of what the problem is. i've always been attracted 2 fire sign men (i have a venus in leo) and my mars is lik 0.25 degrees in virgo but leo description fits me better so mayb its that? i also need 2 figure out my rising sign is because my parents dont seem 2 b able to agree 2 dis lol. im sorta leaning towards pisces/aries cusps if dats possible.

side bar: how r libra moons emotionally? what do u look 4 n a partner?

i dunno. my moon is in leo. when i do guys' charts, i tend to discover fire moons, despite the rest. like the super pisces who make me miserable as all hell, moon in leo. the cancer i'm currently into has moon in sag, which is totally trouble, i know. seems like a cancer, then pow...wanderlust. sigh. oh, also several guys with moon in taurus, which i guess is fixed like mine, plus ruled by venus like my sun.

about my libra moon: Im more pretentious towards my partners, which makes me end up alone most of the time. Im more rational than the average leo (thank God), but more unstable since I really crave partnership.
