Scorpio and Libras

I have been seeing more couples like this around me lately including one of my good friends who is a libra, so I am wondering what pulls these two together?

Oh the reason that my libra fd got together with the scorp was because she was in a rough patch a couple of months ago and he somehow cheered her up and then poof they were together. But I somehow sense that they aren't very compatiable because the scorp is rather dominating and I don't think she enjoyed it that much.

Usually adjoining signs come together to heal each other. I have had terrible luck with Scorp men. (Don't even start me!) But my best friend is a Scorp and for awhile my life was dripping with Scorps, the ladies are amazing. I often find a lot of libra-scorp best friend matches. Off the top of my head, I can think of four.

i have great luck with scorpio women, they also come to me, they dont seem that controlling to me either but they have bad nerves and tend to lie just as much as any otha sign when they feel moody

Thx for the insight, it would seen that scorp female and male libras would go along better in a romantic way. I have to say that female scorps are good friends, can't say the same for scorp males.

2010 started off (well, late Feb) with me becoming aware of a Scorpio girls attraction to me. I had suspicions because I would always catch her smiling at me.
She was 4-5 months out of a LTR and practicing her independence. The attraction was instantaneous and we spent a lot of free time together very quickly. We agreed to take it slow, but it went fast anyways. She put the brakes on me and we decided to date exclusively for a few more weeks and then made it official.
According to typical sun sign descriptions, the roles are kind of reversed in some weird ways. She is a Scorpio through and through (sun, moon, rising) but she has a Libra Venus. I have a Scorpio Venus, so in a lot of ways - romantically - we understand each other very well.
We both have the same goals in life. Spiritually we are very much alike (the only difference is she believes in a specific religion while I consider myself simply spiritual) But we still understand and respect each other.
We have gotten involved in a lot of community service work together. The sex is amazing.
I think, for the first time in my life, I really feel what it feels like to love someone and be loved.
Sure, there are some areas which are not perfect. Sometimes we realize that we talk to each other SO much and about SO many different things that we end up running out of things to talk about.
I still struggle with some trust issues from being cheated on in my last relationship.
Overall, we share A LOT of common ground and I feel like we have built a very solid foundation for a long, long term relationship. My family absolutely adores her and overall, it seems like our mutual friends and family have sort of "gathered around" us to show their support.

ugh. i can't stand scorpio guys. they're such cliches, and i just hate cliches.

i've got mercury and venus in scorpio, yet i have absolutely no interest ever in dating them.

maybe it's because of my leo ascendent/moon conj. that would make sense.
