Such Smart Asses

Totally random but I have to give the males props for their astrological consistency. Every Libra male I've ever known has been an engaging smart ass.

I'm working this temp joint and most everyone is a geek...more geek than me and that's saying a lot. Over lunch, people say things like, "Would you like to see my wiki?" or "Last night I installed Apache...on Windows!!!" *GEEK GIGGLES* So overall there's not much lively, interesting banter and folks can be rather serious and quiet while they're trying to decipher stuff. In short, it's boring and stressful.

Luckily though, I got paired with a guy who keeps me laughing non-stop and yet, we're both very productive. While everyone else is stressed out, he and I are cracking jokes and you can hear chuckling around the office when we're really "on."

He's very clever and witty. I like that he's right there with me when I say something obscure and he's able to AND1 without missing a beat. He has a way of making suggestions that aren't exactly suggestions but more "you should do it this way if you were smart but if you want to do it your way, that's fine too" decrees. He's also helpful but a bit short, inquisitive, but dismissive, and intelligent, but silly. Long story short, he did something today that prompted me to ask "When's your birthday?"

"Why?" he said.

"I'd bet money that you're an air sign."

He's a Libra.

HA!


Wrote all this to say that it's funny when I start to recognize patterns in people astrologically and this guy helped remind me of how much I'm oddly intrigued by the other side of Venus. Again, not sure if it's the Taurus or the Aries in me that makes get on well with Libra and as much as yall tend to baffle me, I don't think I've ever met a Libra I didn't like on some level.

being a smart ass is my natural talent. lol i made serious bosses bust up laughing at my wittiness.

yeah well i must admit that there is a natural charm there. i've never used the word "charm" before but it suits the men that i've met and i'm not talking on a dating level either. i'm not a chatty person but for some reason, air signs, particularly libras and aquas get me to talk more...namely the guys.

it's not just the males. we're all smart asses. we're also the ones who confuse people by making jokes with a deadpan voice.

people have to be real smart and pay a lot of attention to know the difference between what i mean and what i'm saying just to joke around. lots of double entendres and stuff too.

the chicks are ok...very self-absorbed though. the one libra chick i've known for about 10 years has a way of turning everything about her. if you broke your toe, she broke her foot. if you have a bad stomach ache, she had a stomach ache, a headache and she vomited earlier...TWICE!

both are good folks but i have more harmony with the chicks and more good-natured verbal sparring with the guys.

oh my yah. throw in abit of charm and it gets them out of trouble 😛
