Sweet Surprise

I had to travel to Dallas overnight recently. The morning of the flight, I realized I didn't put out extra cat food for my cat. So I called him and asked him if he would mind going over to my place and make sure he had enough food. Not only did he feed my cat, he also vacuumed, picked up my liviong room, and did few loads of laundry. While he was doing all that, he baked me my favorite sweet bread - banana bread.

Tonight I had to work late, so he called me at the office. He asked me if I could stop by his house on my way home so I did. I got there and he had dinner ready, a glass of wine waiting for me and a movie I have been wanting to rent, "Michael Clayton". After the movie and washing dishes, he said "Wait here"..so I did. He runs to his garage, I hear him rattling things around, and then comes back with this huge contraption. It's a small curio cabinet - very ornate and beautiful. He noticed that I have my lighthouse figurines hanging around my house and thought a curio cabinet would be a nice display for all of them. His pasttime is woodworking and man, this guy is good!

Two sweet surprises in two weeks.

Awww, now that is a libra in love. They come up with the sweetest most romantic things...

My first mothers day after I had our daughter, my ex got me a wooden statute of my daughter one side was a picture of her in color and the other side was black and white. I thought that was very unique and wonderful. Out of all the gifts he ever got me (including the expensive ones) that is the most cherished.

Yes, it was so sweet. both occasions.
