There is a stone I am very in love with. Larimar. It's only found in the mediterranean and looks just like the reflection of the turquoise water. It's said that people that are attracted to it have some sort of past life tie to Atlantis lol. Who knows? It just looks cool, though and feels good.
I'll never really search a stone out. I've learned about them through attraction to certain ones and studying the metaphysical properties. It always seems that I come across a new one at the right time.

i wear onyx for my astrological sign and peridot
i guess onyx helps with my enerby, balance, and protection from stealing other peoples stones
peridot helps with the ego and falling into depression
i wear jade every now and then
i also have some quarts...and cubic zircona earrings that i always wear...i think that helps with the "spirits" or some ish like that. i have other stones too , i forget which ones they are
do i think they help? errr...i dunno. i feel the same with or without them. they are pretty though

I have:
a few Rose quartz..
Beaded Emerald bracelets (they're on the "paler" spectrum)
Green Aventurine (looks almost like jade)
Brecciated Jasper
a tiny amethyst
a White marble looking stone (I can't remember the name.)
I wear the rose quartz sometimes..and the emeralds every now & then (I don't feel anything "working" with either.)
I DO like the Aventurine, I call it my MONEY & Luck stone...it has helped to attract both.
I carry it in my pocket, sometimes in my wallet (when I don't have pockets).

That's cool about your rose quartz!
My mom has giant green and purple jade Buddha statues. Always fascinated with them growing up.
I read somewhere that rose quartz is supposed to be about love...that it would heal you if you felt that you weren't loved. My parents weren't really able to show affection or love, so in hindsight it makes sense that I was so drawn to the rose quartz.
Obviously it can be just me now rewriting history and thinking that holding it made me feel better emotionally, but I do know that I loved holding it.click to expand
