I have:

a few Rose quartz..
Beaded Emerald bracelets (they're on the "paler" spectrum)
Green Aventurine (looks almost like jade)
Brecciated Jasper
a tiny amethyst
a White marble looking stone (I can't remember the name.)

I wear the rose quartz sometimes..and the emeralds every now & then (I don't feel anything "working" with either.)

I DO like the Aventurine, I call it my MONEY & Luck stone...it has helped to attract both.
I carry it in my pocket, sometimes in my wallet (when I don't have pockets).

There is a stone I am very in love with. Larimar. It's only found in the mediterranean and looks just like the reflection of the turquoise water. It's said that people that are attracted to it have some sort of past life tie to Atlantis lol. Who knows? It just looks cool, though and feels good.

I'll never really search a stone out. I've learned about them through attraction to certain ones and studying the metaphysical properties. It always seems that I come across a new one at the right time.

Seems like you kno' quite a bit about gemstones. Yeah Larimar are one of the newer stones to be discovered. There's another - labradorite which also seems tied to the ancient cities.

You also tend to lose some at the right time. Have you lost any? I am still finding my yellow jasper, and a coral infused pendant dropped in the deepest drain. I take it as a sign that I should stay far from coral (aries stone) as much as possible.

^ not all stones can be cleansed with sea salt tho'.. some of the more fragile stones will be eroded...

there are alot of things said about labradorite, some good and some bad. Actually it's kind of an ugly stone; if you're lucky, you can find those with rainbow or blue shimmers..

Do you have seed crystals? I find those fascinating. They have codes on the stones even. However, those are said to only fall in your hands if you're meant to have them. Some can channel atlantis or lemurian messages from them stones. But I think it's not advisable to do so lest one gets trapped in some vortex.. lol

I'm still seeking my yellow jasper pendulum. I can't believe it went missing just like that.

A carved ring (not bezel/silver set) would be very interesting for moonstone. Someone told me moonstones work in fours.. that means you need 4 moonstones for maximum effectiveness (Moonstone being an Aquarius stone, Aqua's number is 4) But I bought only one; figured it was a gimmick. Some moonstone have inclusions of black tourmaline too.

i wear onyx for my astrological sign and peridot

i guess onyx helps with my enerby, balance, and protection from stealing other peoples stones

peridot helps with the ego and falling into depression

i wear jade every now and then

i also have some quarts...and cubic zircona earrings that i always wear...i think that helps with the "spirits" or some ish like that. i have other stones too , i forget which ones they are

do i think they help? errr...i dunno. i feel the same with or without them. they are pretty though

I love peridot for Leos. It's a pretty stone. Green rules the heart chakra, so peridot are almost perfect. They are also a money stone. I have many itty bits placed in a glass jar together with citrine and amethyst.

Several times... I have books on the subject. For protection, and several other things... The one that I'm drawn to the most is moonstone. (moon in cancer. Lol!) Blue lace agate surprised me the most!! Wore it for a year, and thought it wasn't working.... Two years later, I'm discussing it with my aqua.... Turns out it was working fine! Lmao! Sometimes it doesn't work like you "think" it will. 🙂 I LOVE this subject a lot! 🙂

That's cool about your rose quartz!
My mom has giant green and purple jade Buddha statues. Always fascinated with them growing up.

I read somewhere that rose quartz is supposed to be about love...that it would heal you if you felt that you weren't loved. My parents weren't really able to show affection or love, so in hindsight it makes sense that I was so drawn to the rose quartz.

Obviously it can be just me now rewriting history and thinking that holding it made me feel better emotionally, but I do know that I loved holding it.

aww this story is soo precious. I hope you find it so you can keep it with you. That is YOUR stone.

I have a few rose quartz, I'm not sure they are "working" very much for me. Maybe it just isn't "time" for love (yet.)

I DID wear one in my pocket last wknd while hanging out with my cancer BFF. After the club, we went to a pizza shop, as soon as we got there this guy who my BFF used to work with, was there. This was my 1st time meeting him, HE was tall, BIG and handsome (just the way I like them)..After being introduced, He was VERY flirty with me, took my hand, interlocked his fingers with mine, kissed it..It was a funny night..he ended up buying a Lrg Pizza and drinks for me & bff..lol..(his treat)..Then as I was leaving he wrapped his BIG manly arms around me, so I don't know..maybe the quartz DID work...ah well.

I have a piece of Aquamarine that I've carried with me, nearly constantly, for 2-3 years now. I began wearing it for its purported stress reduction and courage attributes. Over time, gradually, it has improved my emotional control to the point where if an angry customer berates me, I can almost remove myself emotionally from the situation, and be uncharacteristically diplomatic/polite, until he or she goes away. It had the surprising benefit of improving my voice as well, especially for singing! No research told me it would do that!

I have a Labradorite. I got it for its purported mysticism. I'm a Scorpio Sun with Virgo Moon, if that matters. It gave me terrible dreams with breathtaking landscapes that were somehow hugely memorable. I remember, especially, chasing someone (not maliciously), to find it was my brother -- only he had no face, and huge, soul-less eyes. A horrible, ominous feeling would beset me at work as I carried this stone. I buried it quickly from my life and to this day, seeing even a picture of a Labradorite, sends unpleasant shivers through my body.

I have a Tigers Eye with a bit of a Trickster quality -- it disappears and reappears spontaneously. I've had it since a very small child. At that time I was drawn to it in a souvenir shop and wanted it above all the other ordinarily sought children's toys. It's shiny and dark and golden and beautiful, and each time I find it I'll stare at it for hours, then put it somewhere 'special' not-to-be-lost. Within a day or so it is misplaced unintentionally, never staying 'found' for more than a month at a time, and not to be re-found for another year or so. It wasn't until one of the more recent times (and doing, for the first time, some metaphysical learning in general) that I finally learned the migraines I'd get only occasionally in my life are associated with the times I'd find and 'keep visible' my Tigers Eye. So it's beautiful and special and mesmerizing, but after a short time starts to cause me headaches.

Also, as a Scorpio, I am currently very open to new ideas and in relating seemingly disconnected people together, finding the common thing between them. I have a way of championing both sides of a cause within the same breath, and making it make SENSE. I have a tendency to feel peaceful and a smidgeon closer to that feeling of Universal oneness and love. This is unusual for my earlier stubborn, closed self. I credit my Aquamarine.

Which just the other day fell off its metal pendant bit and landed on the floor. I'm wondering if this means I don't need it any more or if it means I should get it reattached. I had been previously considering it as my future wedding ring stone! And at the very moment it fell off, I'd been thinking, I'll need a new necklace chain for some new gemstones I plan to introduce alongside it and see what they do for me...
