In the aftermath of the recent shooting at the Emmanuel Church in S.C., CNN and all major news networks have been going nuts
over the historically significant Confederate Battle Flag trying to promote the NAACP's agenda get the flag to come down.
What such proponents fail to realize that the Confederate Battle Flag means a lot of different things to a lot of different people.
The irony here is that while one group, interpreting it as a hate symbol may demand it's removal, another group recognizes as
a symbol of "Freedom" as much as Old Glory, the Stars and Stripes which many Native Americans might feel some degree of offense, and rightly so.
The video below, illustrates one man's thoughts on the Stars and Bars. Some have called him disparaging names.
Regardless, these are just flags. Inanimate material objects that feel absolutely nothing for anyone, no matter how much they may bow down
and worship or hatefully scorn and burn it. -
My personal advice for anyone who take offense to a flag should grow some thicker skin and respect the history behind the flag. Otherwise, the hate
that dwells within these ignorant people, will continue to inspire acts of hate from both sides of the debate and therefore, no progress is made.
Let go of the hate and move on.

Also a battle flag...

Which, battle flag, thankfully, never flew over ANY American State Capital for the efforts of a far greater generation than today's generation.
But the "Swastika" precedes Nazi Germany. In fact, it dates back to ancient times and no one really knows the origins thereof as it
has appeared in many cultures having different symbolic meanings.

To citizens of all other nations around the world. I do hereby declare that the United States Of America shall surely fall and fall mercilessly hard.
Even now, it surely falls.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt once said in reference to the Atlantic Wall and the daily aerial bombing campaign conducted against Nazi Germany's
war machine: "Hitler built a fortress around Europe, but he forgot to put a roof over it"
I'll put it this way:
America built a fortress around unrestrained freedom and democracy inspired by the likes of Rome, but it forgot that Rome Fell.
I've said it so many times to deaf ears - "You're FREE to do whatever you want, BUT.... You're enslaved to the consequential accountability for
whatever you do".
That is to say that exercising one's "freedom WITHOUT discretion" is a sure concoction for certain doom.
And reprobate fools are gluttons for perpetual punishment.
And the time will come when all the great debates shall cease and in that day, there will come a terrible wind of sorrows upon the land.
And the world also will lament for it too shall fall with it. One by one, all nations will follow the same path.
It is inevitable.

Pretty sure my words will fall on deaf ears.

Black Freedmen Confederates also owned slaves as much as Whites had owned White Irish slaves.
Our modern times has forgotten history and choose to be offended by it rather than be thankful that such things as slavery had been abolished.
Ironically, the reasons for the Confederacy to begin with have more to do with the tyranny and injustices of the US Government felt by the
citizens of the Southern States. In recent years we have heard about the abuse of the people by members of law enforcement and the US Government.
The irony is that the Confederate Battle Flag could be used by ANY group who has been grieved by the same US Government as their Standard, just the same as those who carried it across the battlefield. So....... if you think about it, the present push to banish the Confederate Flag is akin to
putting down ANY group it oppresses. Clever strategy by the proponents of getting rid of the Stars and Bars, but I, for one, can see that strategy,
plain as day.

You know.... someone can throw a rock at you and knock you out with it. Would you be offended by the rock or the person that threw it.
No matter where you go, no matter where you feet take you, there are plenty of rocks to be found. Shall we outlaw all the rocks on the planet
because we can be offended by the rocks? Or should we get rid of all the people who could potentially throw rocks at us? Keep in mind,
fair is fair, if you get rid of the people, you have to get rid of yourself because you might throw a rock at someone else.
You can't be a hypocrite and be righteous at the same time. Doesn't work that way. But...... you CAN be a hypocrite and unrighteous at the same time.

Hope that helps all you younguns trying to understand.

Education is great. Did you know there is a small population of descendents of Confederates in Brazil.

It is interesting to note how the major news media always promotes bad news and anger.

Read between the lines and you hear "something bad happened today, you should be angry".
This is called psychological warfare and many Americans tune in to it every day to get their daily dose of anger injections.
Then they turn around and pass the news on to everyone else who would rather not be infected with the anger being passed around.
Ironically, from an unlikely source in the form of a science fiction star wars character which offers words of wisdom are very true.
"Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."

Think about it.....
You will find people of every race who live in fear of another race. How each individual controls his or her emotions will vary, some
easily, some not so easily. Nevertheless, the hate that such individuals express would naturally be directly proportional to the
amount of fear they are afflicted with and the anger they have built up.
No one is born a racist. It is an acquired taste, if you will. - It's not who raised you nor your environment. It's the inner you. Your
inner strength or inner weakness. And who can know you, but you? Who can know what goes through your mind and the reasons
why? People try, but they fail.

Taking down the Confederate flag will NOT eliminate racism. Racism will NEVER go away. Same goes for sexism and class warfare
and many other social issues. They will always be around Why? Fear of the unknown, which, in of itself, is ever present, lurking in the
shadows in the darkest parts of your soul waiting to jump out and grab you. On the other hand, fearlessness just might get you killed.
Everything in moderation through the art of self control.
