That nervous energy/mixed up ball of emotion feeling. That coupled with great sadness, or any other deep feeling that you've bottled up and tried to keep a lid on. Like mixing vinegar and baking soda, the pressure has to go SOMEWHERE. Another analogy, you keep throwing stones into a deep well. Hidden, secret. Eventually the water spills over the top. Going to off like a rocket very soon.

That's not corny at all, it's nice and true. Like that saying, Everyday is a gift, that's why it's called the present."

I know better nedley, that is just awful. I don't have enough fingers to count how many times I've talked either of them through one. If they get bad, talk to a doctor, they'll give you something to smooth the edges. My eldest has them too. And why is it everything has to do with our monthly flux? LOL Sheesh.

I wish it were as simple as to say it was hormonal. Panic attacks suck, and thankfully they've gone down in severity. I don't really hyperventilate anymore, and they happen maybe 1-2 times a year. But yes, the sudden irrationality bothers me, and it's that point in time that I have to remind myself that I have to simply just do more things for myself. 🙂

You know yourself best nedley, and I'll not be telling you any symptoms that'll be new to you. Whew! On the reduction in severity and not hyperventilating, I wouldn't recommend anyone medicating themselves unnecessarily, I just know how rotten those attacks are. Some take xanex ( which rather sucks, benzos are addictive ), but there are other meds that are fast acting and on an 'as needed' basis. Your course of action is optimal. You know what's coming and how to distract yourself. Doesn't lessen the suck factor, but you're aware. 🙂

really stressed. papers & projects out the wazoo. friday was my bf's bday and i made it really special for him, told me it was the best bday he's ever had. next day he gets a call from his friend's mother. his best friend overdosed on xanax. he's in a coma on life support. doctors say the "best" anyone can hope for is that he'll wake up an invalid. he just started a new job on thursday and needs to call in if he wants to be there,

cause they're pulling the plug today.
