Word to that Dom. Totally agree. Sometimes you gotta work with what's easily accessible. I like to whip a motor around some secluded locales now and again to pass the time.
Assuming I had access to the better methods you suggested, I would gladly choose them over a car/land.
Which is why I'll be investing the money into sky diving from space via some type of weather balloon.
Some dude is looking to break the record right now. It was originally held by an American in the 1960's. I think some Russian dude is going to break the record by a few km. I think he's going to jump just under a 40km elevation. Like triple the height of a standard commercial jet. You're body breaks the sound barrier when falling from that height. Adrenalgasm! YESPLZ.

I think I'd have to go with a country road. I like asphalt beneath me, but some steep inclines and tight turns really make for the fun.
