So I'm sitting in lunch on the first day of school with no one to sit with. I have absolutely no friends. I'm so close to crying, its terrible. Its so hard to make friends senior year! Everyone already has their own friends that they have know for years.. and to top it off a skunk sprayed the neighborhood and now I smell like one!!.. 😢

So, what happened on your worst day of school?

Who needs friends when you can read books at lunch time....

I did kindergarten and half of year 1 at this awesome school where all the kids were great and if some kid was crying everyone would hug that kid and we all shared toys and stuff but my worse day of school was when I left that school and started at my new school when on the first day a random kid half my size punched me in the face and a teacher screamed at me to sit down while I was eating my sandwich "they don't let us walk and eat at the same time so we don't choke" but I love to waltz when i eat, its a habit....the teachers were so sadistic and loved to humiliate kids and our school uniform was brown 😢 I got so depressed in primary school I used to throw chairs and tables and refused to learn anything from them. so yeh..

I used to play volleyball in HS and there was one home game where my setter placed the ball a little close to the net so that when I went in for the spike I ended up clotheslining myself in front of half the town. That very same game, I had a space cadet moment looking at the scoreboard instead of paying attention and caught the serve... with my face. To this day I'm still amazed it didn't break my nose. I went running after a pop fly in a softball game once too where, good luck telling whether it was me, the center fielder, or both of us that weren't watching what we were doing, but we ran right smack into each other. We both got the air knocked right out of us so the batter got a homerun out of the deal. Again, in front of half the town.

There was also the time where I had an allergic reaction to a medication that gave me this weird rash where I looked like I had chicken pox. It didn't hurt or itch or anything, but going to school with a bunch of red splotches looking like I had been attacked by some finger painting kindergarteners wasn't exactly cool.

I've ripped my pants in school. Sprung a leak on my period that stained my jeans. A real jerk soaked me with a water hose one day while I was wearing a white shirt and a black bra. Been so nervous about having to give an oral presentation in a class that I puked in front of everyone. Been teased and made fun of and bullied for pretty much everything under the sun I think. And I'm not even going to get into all the times I made an ass of myself trying to flirt with someone during my teen years. The absolute worst day though was probably when I got into a fight in the halls and got the crap kicked out me in front of my crush... and everyone else too, but it was the crush seeing that that really hurt lol.

No matter how bad it gets, just remember that it could always be worse. And as much as it might feel like you're going to die of the pain or humiliation at the time, you really aren't. It's not actually going to haunt you forever. You won't always be friendless or awkward or nerdy or whatever it is that you feel like you're going through right now. As clich? as it sounds, it does get better so keep your chin up and you'll make it out just fine.

This wasnt the first day of school but I passed out in the hall way (due to the time of the month)...everyone was still in their classes when it happened but when I woke up...yep surrounded by everyone with my shirt up! Geez...I can only imagine wtf I looked like lol I was soooo embarrassed, they even brought out the wheelchair.

The school nurse was so scared because of how pale I was..and she never seen anybody like that in the 30 plus years of her being a nurse. I had to go to the bathroom and every 5 mins she kept knocking on the door to see if I was ok (which was nice of her) but come on lol. and yes I cried in the bathroom from the embarrassment! Horrible day!

Like TMV...I played volleyball in HS. I was trying to get to the ball...I had to slide on my knees...well I slid alright...right into the net and knocked down the other teams player lol. We were in a college gym and they must have waxed the floors because we had all kinds of problems just trying to even stand up. lol
