Heterosexuals' Attitude 2 their own sex

What do heterosexual people think of their own gender, in terms of physique or attraction factor? Can they make an accurate assessment of hotness for someone who is of the same gender as their own, assuming that they are not homosexual themselves?

I go swimming once a week and occasionally in the shower room some women
choose to go naked. I do too depending on my mood at the time. But I do find
myself taking notice if naked woman who is standing right beside me. And by
that I don't mean I'm checking them out but rather that I'm comparing and appraising them and noting things like "hmm she's got a taut stomach" or "at least my thighs aren't *that* mushy!" When I am observing in this way, there is no sexual undercurrent to it at all.

I wondering do men do this as well? Or can they? One guy told me that it's not possible for one man to appreciate how handsome or not another guy is. Although conversely he did say that he could tell if a guy wasn't attractive.

Are these assumptions true? Do women check out other women in a purely on sexual way? Are men not able to tell how sexy other men are?

Women think with diofefrent sides of their brain.

Hetero men that I know, including myself cannot fathom how a guy looks at another guy and has any sexual thoughts.

We may admire his style or dress, but that's about as far as it goes. But nothing seual for sure.

But women? They always comment on a womans' body, "she's gorgeous" etc.....we have no clue as to how or why they can do that.

I cannot stand to look at a naked guy. Jusat nothing there at all to attract me in any way shape or form.
