After drinking Mellow-dee's 3 litre bottle of spirits rapidly,!!! I'd get the little 'uns and myself in dance formation! and we'd all start singing Bony-M's Painter Man song -

Lyrics as follows:

Painter man, painter man
Who wanna be a painter man
Painter man, painter man
Who wanna be a painter man

Tried cartoons and comic books
Dirty postcards could have done
Here was where the money laid
Classic art has had it's day

Painter man, painter man
Who wanna be a painter man
Painter man, painter man
Who wanna be a painter man

Did adverts for T.V.
Household shops and brands of tea
Labels all around the cans
Who wanna be a painter man

Painter man, painter man
Who wanna be a painter man
Painter man, painter man
Who wanna be a painter man

La...la...la...la...la...la...
La...la...la...la...la...la...la...
Painter man, painter man
Who wanna be a paiter man

I find it actually quite amazing that they concentrated the paint in the middle of the room (apart from tv, and a bit of the sofa)

lol the kids look like their half made of china, the one on the right looks like a statue!

First I would ask the older one "what were you thinking", is this a good example your setting for your younger sibling? Yes their artwork on each other was quite clever and I would let them know that I do understand how much fun it was to create their masterpiece. I would have them assist me in the clean up so they would know how much work it takes to restore the living room. (me doing most of the heavy cleaning because I dont believe they are capable of cleaning it all safely) I would also point out that if they decide to ever have another fun experience like this that there are safer painting materials to use, and more appropriate places to do it in. And to ask for my help in making sure that proper plans are made for such an adventure in the future.

I would point out that it was not the best choice to paint things that belong to mom and dad without asking first to make sure we are ok with it, because they need to respect another persons things.
