so question for the ladies...Around this time, i'm EXTREMELY MOODY ..happy,mad,sad...laugh,cry,hate,love ..all that i'm able to tone it down a bit by being alone, but as for the cramps...Ever since i got it around the age of 13 i have been suffering extremely bad cramps. Having to go to the hospital...Only in the past yr has it eased up A LITTLE BIT, but my question is..is there anything you can drink, eat, not drink not eat, not do...do reduce the cramping? besides midol or taking a hot bath and stuff like that? Help would be greatlyyyyyy appreciated

Yeah, I've tried all kinds of prescription pain-killers...when I was younger it was HORRIBLE, I would miss at least one day of school a month due to the intolerable pain, I remember one time in particular trying to get from one class to another, and the pain was so bad I couldn't walk and I slid down the wall behind some lockers and balled my eyes out for like an hour. 😢 - "Naproxen" was the only thing that worked (Rx). Now that I'm a little older everything is much more tolerable, but still really bad. I get super emotional and take offense to any little thing anyone says or does. I cry easily. I feel like I have a fever for a couple days, I don't think logically, I get very clumsy and drop everything (lol), and I get easily depressed, not to mention the pain, god, the pain. Weirdly, caffeine helps me, and also Premsyn (OTC). They work wonderfully to knock out the pain. But they don't help improve your mood at all.

I agree with the excercise tip, it really does help (but take the pain pills first). Also a heating pad on your tummy will help.

I totally can relate, it sucks!
