My coworker at my new job - I decided to label her a Taurus even though I still dont know.

I came into this job positive and full force as I can feel this has been the most positive job I have ever had and I can feel it only going up from here.

Back to the coworker who got me thinking. Its obvious that she is here with a mindset of it being temporary and shes looking for a new job or open to others. I know for a fact she is getting recruiter calls at work and I get that. Do what you gotta do. She is hardly ever 'working' though and she is clearly (clearly to ME) rude and cold to people (even my boss who is a gemini and may not even notice). Its just a drag to be around her. I honestly lost respect for her due to the above and even avoid too much small talk.

I went on her Linkdin page curiously because I saw her on there at work. (scorp paranoia I hope she is not able to find out!) She says on there she is a highly energetic individual etc etc. She has her resume on there. She has recommendation letters. None of this is the person I work with, I am literally shocked. It just comes off so fake and not like her in person.

I really am not trying to hate or be negative but it really got me thinking. Does professional falseness, LinkedIn, all that..does that make someone successful in the long run? I feel like I am missing something here. Maybe she is a different person than she is at work or at this job.

Id rather see the person SHOW the good work. Id rather see a hard worker. Id rather SEE someone who is highly energetic. Its so strange.

With you're mindset you could likely take position as the manager or even boss at some point.

In reality if someone doesn't want to work at the job they get paid for then fuck them. I could even see someone who might not be the best at their job, but at the least be an enjoyable person to be around. That would be fine with me, assuming they aren't a complete fuck up. Since you're not the boss the best you can do is just be better then them in every aspect. Be better then your boss even. Things they overlook or sweep under the rug you take pride in doing right for the sake of being professional. There is alway's a way to the top of any job, and a way to surpass every worker within the job. You just have to apply yourself and do everything required to do your job and then some.

Thanks for your positive post. It just gave me more motivation! Lol.

Right! It's like at least be more nice to people and show a little effort. I blame my cancer rising for being annoyed.

Seriously, I've been though hell in my past jobs. This place is like a sunshine compared, so I am so greatful for it. Yes it motivates me to maybe become boss one day lol. I'm taking it a day at a time though.

I also had to learn all that going through those hellish jobs so someone who isn't grateful for something like this baffles me.

lol....when you view someone's linkedin page they get an email saying you viewed it.

This has the potential to be extremely embarrassing. 😂
Yes....lol.

Last week my new employers were crawling all over my profile...I received notifications for it...I don't have premium.

Then I was stalking the profile of an old Sag coworker who I had a falling out with.....

.....and I was like.....

"Welllllllll.......fuck....I am totally busted"

It's not like Facebook. LOL
