no it's not a dumb thread at all... i feel the same way. i would feel awful if i went around traumatizing people or made people lose faith in life just 'cause i'm at war with myself (people who go around damaging other people are usually at war with themselves...unsettled within themselves) there's enough suffering in this world and we shouldn't add to it.

Nothing had changed. I had not understood any of what you said but I am happy someone did.
I do not think anyone have power to MAKE people stop believing in anything unless those are stupid people. IMOclick to expand

I'm thinking because I have met a lot of people who are ....a part of them is spoiled or dead ..not bad people but damaged.
My grandmother used to say damaged people are dangerous because they know they can survive whatever they do or is done to them. They are often a danger to themselves and others.
And then I thought. If i could choose I would want to be the person who makes someone believe in love . In their dreams ....who gives them life. Even if its maybe not real. I would want to give them hope.
And if i was the person who made them lose their faith in love. I think i would feel awful.
Like that kid who tells the others santy ain't real....i just kept pretending to my brother for ages. And tbh i think he was pretending too. Isnt that sweet? So we could have that little family game?
