$ 140 per month

With 2 dependents.

Health, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Life on self, Long term disability, short term disability, 15,000 Life insurance on both dependents

Not a bad deal.

Stfu.

That's really good.

And good to see you, CapTenn 🙂

It really is.

I cannot, and will not complain. 🙂

My lady friend pays $ 220 per week, with a $ 12K deductible, $ 50 co-pay, $ 135 specialist co-pay, and $ 500 emergency co-pay.

Yikes.

Good to see you too, Ms. Montgomery.

Through her employer?

Unbelievably, yes.

She works for a pretty small company.

She tried the Obamacare exchanges and the rates were just as high, with even higher deductibles.

Absurd.

Do you know her income, roughly? Or at least what percentage her premiums are of her income?

I went back and changed some stuff since the deadline is Friday for early enrollment.

$ 477/mo with me +2 kiddos.

Medical, Dental and Vision.

$ 9.21/mo for extra life insurance on myself
That's $ 80 bi-weekly per person...
It's up $ 30 bi-weekly per person from last year.
It's still REALLY good.

Thank goodness the company pays part of it.

Something to think about, people.

1) The high Healthcare costs are due, in part, to greed.

2) "Compulsory" Enrollment is Tyranny.

While some people, having an elevated income, can afford to pay, whether compulsory, or not,

others, cannot. To threaten those people who cannot afford healthcare with a fine, amounts to

extortion.

Keep in mind, that "voluntary" periods, are, sooner or later, made compulsory.

Once you are in the system, you are at risk to be compelled to pay the inevitable future increases.

But at the present time... I am reading and hearing people say...

"It's a great deal!"

Let's recall something then candidate Barack Obama once said:

You can have a situation, which we are

seeing right now in the state of Massa-

chusetts, where people are being fined

for not having purchased health care

but choose to accept the fine because

they still can’t afford it, even with the

subsidies. And they are then worse off.

They then have no health care and are

paying a fine above and beyond that.

Taxes, Fines and Government Extortion

Obamacare Is Unconstitutional

https://www.cato.org/policy-report/marchapril-2011/obamacare-unconstitutional

Extortion is a criminal offense that occurs when a person unlawfully obtains money, property, or services from another person, or institution, through threats. Extortion is usually practiced by organized crime groups. In such conditions, the victim has no feasible legal remedy.

IMHO, when someone coerces someone else to do/say a thing "or else" ie fine, imprisonment, such coercion

amounts to extortion and, in this case, for fear of government treachery, the coerced submits, lest he or she pays whatever penalty that they are threatened with.

Such coercion not only amounts to extortion, but for the penalties, expressed, or implied, but ultimately, Tyranny.

These so-called "United" States has fast become a Tyrannical nation. For as soon as the Constitution was passed, Tyrants had taken it upon themselves to be kings.

QUOTATION: “Well, Doctor, what have we got—a Republic or a Monarchy?”

“A Republic, if you can keep it.”

ATTRIBUTION: The response is attributed to BENJAMIN FRANKLIN—at the close of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, when queried as he left Independence Hall on the final day of deliberation—in the notes of Dr. James McHenry, one of Maryland’s delegates to the Convention.

When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.

= Problem Reaction Solution =

Problem, heyyyyy we need $ $ $ , let's inflate healthcare and, by any means, whether through hard power or soft power, force people to think that they need healthcare, then offer our solution.

Reaction: We cannot afford healthcare!!!!! It costs too much!!!! Do something, dammit!

Solution: Hey everybody! Have I got the solution for you.....

And what do the people say? "Not bad".

Something to think about.
