I've had it up to here...

with family member, particularly extended ones, who think that JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE "FAMILY", they can say any old thing that pops into their mind and you have to sit there and take it. Rudeness, outright friendyness, ignorance, righteousness, the list goes on. I am sick of it. I am now an adult, and I act like one, so have some respect around me and then perhaps I will come around and visit you more. But I refuse to be dragged into your pit of negativity and gossip about other members of my family and your obsessions with who's doing what and with whom and who's rich enough they should be giving you money. AAARRRGGGG! Enough already!!

Okay, I needed to get that off my chest. If you've ever felt the same, please share. 🙂

that should say "family memberS" and "b i t c h y n e s s" rather than "friendyness", which although is cute and funny, does not adequately reflect the way I'm feeling...lol

its okay *pats* i dont thikn anyone gets along with their family members 100% , i have trouble with mine also. I know its like you're an adult now and you want to be treated like one, but maybe theres a reason to why they treat you that way, maybe its cus they see you as that young teen girl, i dont know -_- but i think the best way to resolve this is to talk it out and set aside the issues and talk about it and then work ur way up then maybe something CAN imporve. who knows.

I do need to work on voicing my opinions more with my family, I do okay with my parents but my grandmother can be the most racist, negative, evil person sometimes...she had brain surgery and that's when all her bad personality traits seemed to get worse. After my cousin died, she still talked trash about her! Who does that— My aunt, who is also my boss, thinks its okay to ask me a series of like 100 intimately personal questions about my life, and then analyze everything I say. Screw that shiznit. My other aunt is moody as h e l l and spews off the wall statements out of nowhere that nobody knows what the h e l l she's talking about, my married-in uncle is a perv who deserves to be kicked hard in the crotch...god I could go on and on. I suppose no family is perfect, but I just *hate* it that you're expected to put up with it only because they're related to you...I would never stand for this type of crap with some stranger on the street...and I doubt they would treat strangers in such a rude manner. They do it because they know I won't strike back because they're "family" and they're older than me. I can't tell any of them anything at all personal, because all the women in my family are gossipy as h e l l and anything you say gets around within a week, even though we all live in different states.

lol, this would be comical if it didn't annoy me SO much.
