Would you say that a friend is jealous of you if they are always laughing at you when negative things happen to you or when people say negative things about you? When you are given compliments and they look you up and down? When they constantly make sarcastic remarks? When they imitate you? When you stand up and fight for them, but when it's time for them to have your back, they run, stand back and watch, and doesn't say anything when they know the truth.

A friend is someone who is suppose to be there for you through the good and the bad. It shouldn't be one sided.

So, should I continue to be friends with this person?

Yeah... she doesn't like you.

I had a "friend" like that-- I continued to

hang around her because we were friends with

the same people.

But it got to be too much and I just stopped.

Couple of years later, everyone else quit

associating with her, too-- two of my friends

(married) even sold their half of the business

they had been in with her and her husband.

She had issues.

When I was younger I didn't have many friends the only people I would talk to is my boyfriend and this one girl.

She was just a mess and really negative and mean, I was kinda desperate for companionship.
I was using her too because she was the opposite of me charming and likable and being seen with her was a good look for me..

After I stopped being so silly I just sort of attracted positive people.
