"Organizers at the rally on Saturday called on demonstrators to drive on Interstate 70 and other area highways at 4:30 p.m. Monday, turn their hazard lights on and stop their vehicles for four and a half minutes to symbolize those four and a half hours that Mr. Brown??s body lay in the middle of the street.

—We??re going to tie it down, going to lock it down,?? Anthony Shahid, one of the lead organizers of the rally, told supporters from the stage at a Ferguson park. —I want the highways shut down. I know it's a holiday, but it won't be no good holiday.?? "

Shahid, a political activist, had called for people to drive 40 mph on Aug. 18.

Today, he wants his followers to stop traffic, altogether.

One of the things he demands is that of job training and jobs for black men.

Shahid is a bit behind the times and needs to be informed that there are a LOT of people who
are out of work. Not just black men.

It's pointless to begin training anyone when there are NO Factories, let alone jobs to be had.

Of course, seeing that there are tensions in the Mid-East and with Russia, no doubt Iran and China
and elsewhere. Maybe we can start WW3 so we can justify new factories for war materiel so we can put
people back to work. Reduce existing population and future population growth rates. "Boo hoo,
IF we keep reproducing like we've done, there won't be enough food and water to ration even amongst
ourselves."

Sound like a plan?

Apparently its now for Sept 10th (i didnt hear anything about today yet) here's a letter sent to the president.

Monday morning, civil rights activist and lawyer, Eric Vickers, has sent a letter to President Obama advising him of a plan to shut down I-70 on September 10th.

He says they feel —morally obligated?? to carry out this peaceful civil disobedience because Governor Jay Nixon has rejected calls to appoint a special prosecutor in the Michael Brown case.

Letter in full:

Honorable??Barack H. Obama
President
United States of America
Washington, D.C.

Dear President Obama:

Per the attached letter to?? Missouri Governor Jeremiah —Jay?? Nixon dated August 28, 2014, this is to provide notice that We will commence a direct action campaign against the State of Missouri, beginning with a peaceful??civil disobedience shut-down of Interstate 70 on September 10, 2014.

We feel morally obligated to take this action because Missouri??s Governor has??rejected all pleas by African-American and other leaders, locally and nationally, for the appointment of a special prosecutor in the Michael Brown matter.

If there is to be justice??in Missouri, it must begin with the appointment of a special prosecutor.

Thank you.

Sincerely yours,

Eric E.??Vickers

Just read about the few that DID create a disturbance. At the moment, it did NOT interrupt more pressing news
coming out of the Middle East, The Ukrain and North Korea.

Stopping traffic for 4.5 minutes yesterday, did not generate the coverage that the group had hoped for.

Keep in mind, that a Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) takes time: Securing the scene and evidence collection
procedures don't happen in the space of a snap of the finger. - IF 4.5 hours is what was necessary for the
Brown scene investigation, that's what was required.

I recall in one video, a woman was screaming "why nobody helping him" drowning out some critical information
being told by an alleged witness. The reason why nobody was helping him was because he was dead. Apparently,
the woman was unable to separate her emotional thinking from her rational thinking at that time. Such is the
case with many people during intense moments in life.

They parrot the chant "No Justice No Peace" through their voices and their signs.
That's ok, but TRUE justice rationally weighs all the facts in the balance. Not reactionary emotionalism.

^^^ That being said, I am sure Brown's body was left there for a valid reason. Which reason may one day come to light.

You know.... the laws of the land could be a lot worse. If so written, the laws "could" have allowed Darren Wilson to shoot not only Brown, but his skinny little friend, too. Anyone else want to complain about it could be shot, too.

History is full of scenarios like that. Don't doubt it.

Not saying that's right, but truth is, that COULD well have been the case for the US.

If they didn't take the time to gather up all the info while his body laid there (which is the norm for majority of any death)...When the cop would be found not guilty....they would be screaming that the investigators didn't do what they were supposed to gather enough evidence. Its a lose/lose scenario either way sadly.
