I agree that it often does seem as you describe, Luz...but, I am on a journey (through my angels) that has shown me the side of compassion...
It does exist.
It is just overshadowed by the doom and gloom that is way more obvious.

Actually, I read that as quite a positive thing!

Which makes for an interesting world full of challenges.
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
And therefore they are the ones who need to learn.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
But you should be able to tell the difference and stay true to yourself.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
And that is ok, b/c it isn't about seeking rewards.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
And being vulnerable allows you to be seen as who you truly are.
The biggest men with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men with the

And that's ok, b/c maybe the bigger ideas suck.
People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.
So it is up to you to appeal to the top dog's compassion.

Change is always a good thing, and builds character.

Which means they are hurt and proud, but are always grateful to have a friend like you who cares so much.
