Wow just wow

do you think it was made with fetanyl...to make a quick buck?

The cost of fetanyl (upon research) is very high.
Which leads me to believe this is a serial type thing.

If this were put into food, they sure as hell would make a big news stink about it..unfortunately it's drug related, so they aren't.

Hopefully, the answer to that will surface. Right now every dealer on the street could be harassed until they find that needle in the haystick. (maybe..depends on the big wigs and if they think it's important enough). For all we know there has to be a head count of those dead for it to matter.

Lethal batches of —bad heroin?? hit East Coast the same week Philip Seymour Hoffman died

By Scott Kaufman
Sunday, February 2, 2014 15:47 EST

For the past three weeks, authorities have been tracking batches of deadly fentanyl-laced heroin that has been moving east from Pittsburgh.

Twenty-two people in western Pennsylvania died of overdoses in the past week. Authorities believe that most of the deaths were related to heroin laced with fentanyl, a powerful narcotic typically prescribed to terminal cancer patients as means of pain management.

It is 100 times more powerful than morphine, and in combination with heroin can shut down the respiratory system of users.

The laced heroin went by the street names —Theraflu?? and —Bud Ice?? in Pennsylvania, but as it made its way to Long Island it was re-branded as —24K.??

It has already been linked to five Long Island overdoses.

The Nassau County medical examiner??s chief toxicologist told Newsday that —this is all happening very rapidly.?? The county issued a —contaminated heroin alert?? on Thursday to prevent more overdoses.

Last month, 22 people in Rhode Island died in thirteen days. Authorities determined the cause of death in nineteen of them to have been the fentanyl-laced heroin.

Authorities have not said whether the fentanyl-laced heroin played a role in Academy Award-winning actor??s death on Sunday.

I feel a bit guilty because I watched hunger games and he was in it and I was thinking "oh heres that guy playing the smart fucked up psychopath guy again"??_..he's a great actor I loved Capote I guess I just see actors vulnerability when they are acting and I kinda prey on it??_..and to think he was battling addiction the whole time shows how vulnerable and insecure with himself??_.what a way to blow your hunger games money though!

This is weird.

Fentanyl isn't poison; it's a heavy-duty narcotic for people with long-term pain, I believe.

People OD because it depresses their breathing-- that can be done with any narcotic (opiate based) if someone takes enough.

Idk why anyone would do this; doesn't seem very profitable if they were selling it as regular.

No kidding.
They would have to hire an army of "temporary workers" who would be paid a pretty penny to get a job
at a bunch of diverse X food/beverage processing plants to insert X amount of Fentanyl into the process food product supply.

Another vulnerable market might be cigarettes. Perhaps not with Fentanyl but perhaps something else.
It's a pity people fall prey to drug addiction, worse when they become targets for someone's sick agenda.
IMHO, all the more a good reason not to do drugs.

Maybe the people who tainted it thought they were doing a good deed ... to rid us of heroin addicts, and to put the fear in the users to quit?

idk

Sad ... I lost a good friend in August from a heroin overdose, and it's just sad that people do this to themselves.

Vigilante..my thoughts exactly.

What would happen if it were injected into Dr. prescribed medication like cardio/pulmonary, diabetic medication?
A spooky thought.
