The people whom represent today's democrats identify more with the people that hated President Kennedy than with President Kennedy himself.

Namely, many historians and other respectable people are asking if President Kennedy was really more Conservative than Democrat by today's standards.
1.) Advocated a strong military to protect America and her Allies against the threats faced by Communists and other enemies of freedom.
2.) Advanced innovative military strategies for fighting unconventional warfare by creating Special Forces, Navy SEALs and other Special Operations Forces to deal with the growing threat placed by the Soviet Union's use of Proxy Wars against the USA and her friends.
3.) Advanced the Space Program, Space Exploration and advanced technological breakthroughs in rocket technology.
4.) Tried to limit the Federal Reserve and growing federal banking system. Was against powerful and concentrated forms of power in the banking industry.
5.) Advocated lower taxes for people. From industry to the local janitor, he didn't want people pay enormous taxes for a behemoth federal government.
