So get this...

I had...have...currently waiting for...a job interview for a job I JUST applied to within the last 24 hours. The manager basically sprang the interview up on me since I just placed my application in last night. They also practically insisted I come in tonight, after work, for this interview despite the fact that I told them I would have to travel home, grab my car and then turn back around and come up their way, effectively meaning I would not be available until 8 pm. I have to wake up at 4:30 am for my internship. But, I am willing to make the sacrifice because I need the extra cash so I'm like sure.

So I get here and would you believe the manager leaves (they knew I was coming at 8) to go to the freakin store to buy a basketball because some college basketball team is here at the restaurant and he wants them to sign it.

20 min have gone by with me just sitting...I'm ready to leave but then I'm like I drove 20 miles out of my way to be here.

What an asshole.

Correction...the basketball players are HIGH SCHOOLERS...Fucking high schoolers.

Fucking bullshit.

Okay well scratch all of that lol, he hired me on the spot and said he will train me as a bartender too. This is at a pretty nice sports bar, so @xXxAliciaXxX I guess that can mean pretty good money. We will see and I'll give this guy a chance cuz he definitely came correct during the interview.

Not NY but DC, so I think the potential for tips and stories is high lol maybe not as great as NY but hey baby steps.
I'm just happy because life was about to become a serious struggle...I'm talking rice and water struggle lol

My moon is tamed today and my Pisces glow is strong so I could not care less if you're looking down on my "small" opportunity. I'm 24, interning in PR in one of the toughest cities to break into that industry. I'm making strides and will be well on my way. I could careless if you think I am overreacting because AS USUAL, here you go, popping out of the blue, without ANY CONTEXT, talking out of your ass. You don't know exactly why or what this job means to me.

And I've always wanted to bartend, why wouldn't a 24 year old be excited!?

Did you not see the second post— I bet you didn't even read, which is your MO. Always running that mouth of before thinking, always wrong and misinformed.

I posted the first write up was made 40 min before the follow up because I was venting and somewhat amused at how a manager could make an appointment for an interview and blow it off to go find a basketball. The follow up post was made 40 min after my interview, the manager had apologized and I had gotten the chance to get a feel for his management style.

To be almost 60, you sure lack the wisdom of someone even half your age. You do a lot of talking BEFORE THINKING and are hasty in judgement. It's pathetic how judgmental you are and even more pathetic how wrong you are.
