Aprilbaby, I sincerely hope that your health is not a concern for you after you go to the doctor. I think I read some sort of statistic somewhere that 80 something percent of all lumps that women have in their breast are harmless benign lumps that don't even need to be removed. Whatever your doctor says, it is going to be okay. You will get it taken care of. I'm sending good thoughts your way.

Things that are causing me stress:

-no boyfriend
-hate all aspects of my job with a passion
-see no purpose to my life
-am not going to school but would love to be, but can't see how I can if I need to work to get out of my house and be on my own
-no close friends, I shut them all out long ago
-no real reason for me to be here
-can't sleep

wow aprilbaby!

THANK YOU for being so cool!! And thank you for the kind words. It sucks that we can't go to college together; can you imagine the fun??! lol. I love your idea of shutting out all negativity. This is what you need to do, both for your physical and emotional health. I think you are a very brave woman to be able to look around you and know that a lot of it is completely sucky, but to still go after your ambitions and better yourself with the knowlege that in time your environment will get better, your situation will get better, because you have gotten better. You're a very intelligent, gutsy and inspiring person and I really want to thank you for the words of encouragement. Henceforth we shall be each other's cheerleaders!! 🙂

Guess what...I've been looking into it heavily and I found a school here that is an accelerated "career college" that offers all kinds of programs that take eight months to complete and then you are hireable. I'm extremely interested in two of the fields; Dental Hygiene and Phlebotomy. I did my Senior Project in high school on Dental Hygiene (got an a!! wahoo! lol), so I know a few of the different dentists and hygienists in my area from that because I interviewed them...and then with phlebotomy (that's when you draw blood and do lab work on it), I know nothing about it but I know it interests me because it's part of the medical field and I always wanted to somehow be involved in the medical field (but I don't want to be a doctor, too much stress). It costs 6,000 but I'm thinking maybe I'll take out a loan or try for a grant or something. My parents might be able to help me but I get the feeling my mom would rather I work, and that my dad is really the one pushing for me to go to school. I'm pretty excited, because the thought occured to me that a year from now if I pass my classes I could be a freaking dental hygienist. See? I'm moving my ass! lol 😛
