planets in the twelve houses?

i'm confused on this. it says my sun is in the fifth house while my moon is in the ninth house and my venus is in the seventh house, i mean..the point is..what does this all mean? It doesnt seem like the other astrology i'm familiar with.

Hmmm... I think each house is representative of a certain sign. So for instance, I think the ninth house is gemini, the seventh house is aries, and the fifth house is aquarius. Of course, I could be completely wrong.

I see what my problem is, I was thinking of a classical chart, you're using a trpical zodiacal chart... Grrr, stupid book uses out of date charts...

1st house:Aquarius
2nd house😛isces
3rd house:Aries
4th house:Taurus
5th house:Gemini
6th house:Cancer
7th house:Leo
8th house:Virgo
9th house:Libra
10th house: Scorpio
11th house:Sagittarius
12th house:Capricorn

Now I think the deal is that if the planet is at the edge of the house, it can be translated into the next house for interpretation.

Yes, Morgan is correct, the houses do correspond with the Sun signs.

I'm not sure what the history of it is, but Classical is what they used to use, but tropical is supposed to be more accurate and what they use today...
