Yesterday at work this engineer came by my desk to ask something about work related things. Then proceeded to tell me that when I walk by there is a nice sweet coconut smell and asked what I am wearing.
I told him I wear coconut body spray and also use coconut oil in my hair. Then he said "by the way I love your hair" And I was like aww thank you and smiled at him then he walked away.
*BTW I have always thought he was cute but he is the type who keeps to themselves and I honestly never really thought he cared for me much. He is one of the younger engineers in the company.
A very close coworker of mine comes back (she's technically related to me) and I tell her what he says and she told me *He is a good one* and I asked her if she knew if he was seeing anyone (I didn't think I have ever seen a wedding ring). She said no that she thinks he is not.
He comes back later and proceeds to ask me if my curls in my hair are natural. And kept asking me questions and saying he really loves my hair lol and it gets to the point where he tells me I look so good and he has thought that from the first moment he has seen me (I have been here for a year and a half and never really had much of a conversation with him other than work related). He kept getting closer to me and this dude came up and KISSED ME. I was like woah and backed up.. He then asked me if I had a boyfriend and I said no I did not. I also asked him if he was seeing anyone and he said no then put up his hands and said see no ring or anything...I ended the conversation and left. I few minutes later my coworker (relative) comes back and told me she ran into him on the way back to my desk and asked him if he was married and he said YES!!
WTF I was so mad. This dude is crazy.
I come home to a friend request on facebook from him WITH PICTURES OF HIM AND HIS WIFE ALL OVER IT?? I did not accept the friend request but he sent me a message:
"Hey! Very sorry about that. It was impulsive and I am very sorry to lie to you. I am married and have a kid along the way. My marriage is going through a rough patch.
Really regretting it a lot and I am sorry to take advantage of the situation."
Maybe he possibly over heard my coworker telling me he is married?
Either way wtf. I hope he leaves me alone I do not mess with someone in a relationship let alone a marriage. I did not want to make a big deal so I told him that I will be cool about it and leave it behind but I am NOT messing with a married mad.
He apologized and again and said he understands
Then I wake up to another message and he says "Did you regret that moment though? Just curious"
What a shit bag, this dude is trying to play me. Does he think I am easy or a hoe or something
He is stupid to be messing with his career like this. He is lucky I am nice! He needs to be careful and lay off because he Is messing with work!
Any advice on how to handle this in the best way possible, I do not want to make a big deal or have the guy get in trouble at work but I just want to be left alone and act like nothing happened.
