After a few days away again, I've come back again to the duncan board gang and read through the different posts.
I just want to say - I don't like what I see is happening here....everybody, well not everybody - that's a gross exageration!!! seems to be back-biting and bad-mouthing and demonizing everyone else.
I used to love to come to this board and the buzz and vibes were all so positive and unconditional positive regard was always paramount....
Now, it's fcukin dog eat dog...on this board.....
I don't know, maybe it's just me....maybe I have changed in some way....but it sure ain't the "nice place" it used to be.
I won't name any names..........but "let's get our act together" or let's get out of here.

Alana your right, When I came here, things was nice, nice ppl-still are. But I see posts going downhill. I hope things improve as well. Sometimes I dont know what to say so I keep my mouth shut. If my conspiracy head still working, it seems that someone on this board wanted to convince Duncan board staff that this board need an active (moderator) and such? getting multiple ID's and making stupid statements and at the same time same person defending the board against his another "stupid ID" and so on? "Insulter and the Defender are the same person" this is usual stuff for sick and bored minds..!
IT WASN?T LIKE THIS BEFORE WHEN "IP" WAS SHOWN..!! one could easily find the multiple ID's by jut following the IP numbers..!!

I dont know if you know me that well, or recognize my ID. But I have followed some of your posts to my delight, you can sure write a descriptive phrase or two. I enjoyed reading them very much.
I have been comming here for a little over a year now. And you are not wrong in your observation about the decline in the moral conduct on the boards. It seems that we have seen the old gang as we call it I guess, dropping off like flies. First they seem to visit less and less until they finally just give up and dont return. I to have been back to the boards less and less it seems lately.
There are not many names I am familiar with anylonger, and it makes me very sad to know that just a few can destroy so much in such a short time. I have been silent and just followed the caos here as of late. But now I think I will go to Mr. Duncan and let him know what has happened to his happy little extended family. Or maybe to just bid him goodbye and move on. It just is not the same anymore, there's no quick witted folly and light hearted play any longer. This has become a somber and dismal place to come for the most part, so why stay when everyone is more interested in tearing one another apart just for fun. Thats not fun everyone, its just sick. I will have to go think about if I wish to return anylonger.
But I will be letting Mr. Duncan know why I am leaving if that is what I choose to do. So what do you think Alana, do you agree with me in so far as my take on the subject at hand? I feel like something has almost died here, and it has. Its the kind spirit and feel of this place through the friendships we nurtured for so long, and it just makes me sick inside.
I wish we could have it back, but fear it has been forever ruined.

If anyone here wishes to see posts that are what this place used to be like, just read some entries from Sweet-p. Phoenix Rising, Freebird, Looneybird, Turtle, Allan, and yes Parallax, also Alana, just to name a few.
Check out the people who have come here for over a year and have a look at the comittment to friendship and get the feel of the place. Then follow their lead and perhaps we can resurect the boards once again. One can only hope!

Tw2, ty for your kind words. means alot comming from one of the "gang" . Nice to see you postin back on here. Yes I was seeing the old posts, and even from when I first joined as to how nice it was. I think the boards can come together once again, even if not commenting on the ones who are less of character that cause the fighting would make a difference,, just act like its not there and keep up the friendly side of things. I hope things do improve. I like the ppl here.

Thanx for your thoughts.Some of us do try our best to put on some thought provoking massages and keep up the old spirit going. To throw in soem light moments I have myslef started a thread on Jokes/poetry/anecdotes on political,cancer, virgo & pisces boards.And it would be very heartening if we contribute towards knowledge and visit the boards other than astrology ones- more often. In our real life..astrology has its very limited place. How long can anyone go along basing their day to day living on "How to solve relationship problems based on astrology"? At the end of it ...the issues have to be taken care of on an one on one basis.
Right now I am preparing course material for students at associate & graduate levels. I am looking forward ot contribute on these boards whenever some thought stimulates my mind.

And AquarainKisses I was hoping some more matter out of you. I still remember exchnaging soem notes on parenting ... you think well. Keep posting.
