What do you see? Are you happy and content with the reflection you have staring back at you? Meant as yourself as a whole, not just the physical reflection.

I try to live a life that being able to look at myself (truly looking at who I am) is comfortable. Maybe this is too deep for a Saturday morning 😉

When I look in the mirror....

Physically I'm thinking I am so freakin' pretty! And I'm so thankful that I perceive myself to be that way! Some call that arrogance/being conceited, but yet if I were to say, "ugh I'm so freakin' ugly" people would then advise me to get some self-esteem lol (double standard)

Mentally, I'm thinking, wow girl you're so smart & I'm proud of you for overcoming so many obstacles in your life! Get it girl! lol

Even when I've done wrong or have made a bad choice/poor judgment, I simply look in the mirror & remind myself that a lot of things are fixable & that trouble doesn't last always. This erases any guilt/shame I'm feeling in the moment, b/c it reminds me that I'm still human.

And that's ok. Life isn't over b/c I or someone else made a mistake, made a poor choice or things didn't go my way/as planned.

Having 1 on 1's with myself isn't a bashing session (being your own worst enemy) for me. It's a time to reflect & give myself credit for things others hate giving credit for

That is why looking in the mirror isn't as painful for me as it may be for others
