I mean, I'm interested in the idea. "a black sands beach resort" -- that sounds interesting.

Right here man.

Yeah I did a bit of early work on that - the renders I did ended up looking pretty bad. Not because of the idea. It was either the limitations of my software or I'm just not that good at rendering natural daylight yet. It's about getting the caustics right so the light actually refracts off the beach correctly and it looks like sand.

but when I did it it just looked like a black screen.


I was embarrassed and gave up.

Thats fine man. We're still a long way to go. Just wanna check out if you're done with anything. #excited 🙂
