Pisces moon and visceral, somatic response -

Hello DXPers,

I have a pisces moon placement at the very last degree. I also have some virgo placements, so that could also explain this phenomenon that I am feeling. I have a lot of stuff going on as a PhD student - things give me stress. Being very sensitive to the environment allows me to detect other peoples subtleties, sights, sounds, smells and other such things - for better or for worse. This weekend, I got the most powerful migraine and the exhaustion surrounding that kept me on my ass all week. I was wondering if any Pisces mooners feel stress of theirs and others in their body and can actually point to it and feel it manifesting? When something is happening that is causing emotional pain or stress, have you ever unintentionally made yourself sick?

Xo,
M

Yeah but I don't realize till later.. and it tends to come out sideways.

Was worse as a kid.
I have a stellium in virgo so I have a very linguistic commentary playing in my head as it is happening which makes it all the more neurotic. I pulled a muscle in yoga on Thursday and by Sunday somehow it's connected to the ever presence of guilt in my body. Fucking nuts.

one of my friends has a pisces moon, and whenever she is stressed this exact thing happens to her. I think water moons are more sensory triggered than the other elements, and sometimes it becomes very overwhelming. This description makes a lot of sense with regards to the somatic response.
Totally. I have such a hard time in crowds and where there's loud noises and a bunch of stimulation.

I don't have a stellium in Virgo, but I do have three planets there--

And I'm well acquainted with guilt.

Until you mentioned it, I forgot how consuming it used to be.

I don't think it's always *us* that generates it, though... as you

said, we're more susceptible to picking it up (though imo, not

from others exclusively, but whatever the hell is hanging out

in the aether), if we allow it.

Had to think about that 🙂

And it isn't an action so much as an inaction.

Everything has energy attached to it... sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad.

Avoiding bad energy seems easy enough (it isn't-- much of it is fascinating in a macabre way),

but there's a lot out there that appears 'good' on the surface, and it isn't.

I'm fairly good at knowing the difference now, but it was trial and error for a long time... macabre

shit aside, that is.

😛

Yes, I can most certainly relate to what's being shared here (*hugs*), and I have a Virgo Moon.

It is something that has caused me a great deal of grief in life, esp. as a kid (as others have mentioned)...

I can keep my boundaries when it comes to emotions, but it is more difficult when it comes to Energy...

I need a lot alone time, and there are usually affirmations cycling and repeating in my mind when dealing with difficult environments (such as the work place, and home). I do also have the support of my dearly Beloved. Although he transitioned years ago, his presence remains strong; he truly is a major source of strength...

I know that can be a Virgo thing too. You sound very kindred to me. Sorry for your loss.

I don't have this. My mother with PiMoon and Cancer Mars did.

What happens to me a lot is that I have to be alone after any group gatherings. Right when they want another gathering. When I was a child I liked gatherings made out of the last one. The older I got the more I hated that every gathering bears a new one. Like don't they have better things to do? And for this I hate myself. Why can't I enjoy a simple life? Why do I have to make a mountain out of a molehill?

Maybe this is the most claim I have heard about myself in the real life, "why do you make a mountain out of a molehill?"

Hmm... would there be no mountain if you could just

do what you wanted, without being made to feel

guilty for not participating in Round 2?

My work is stressful. I don't think I ever felt stressed over someone else's stress or whatever. I do get muscle aches sometimes when I've been under a lot of pressure, but I don't think anyone else's feelings ever contributed to it.

I don't think I have a talent for picking up on what other people feel. I think I'm good at deducing based on behavior, but I don't think I could rely on a gut feeling.

I have Virgo rising opposite my moon, so I think that pulls me away from relying on feelings and just picking up on things.

Absolutely. I used to throw up every day before class - that's how bad my stress was. I used to skip sleep whenever I had a big exam coming up. And I would feel both pain and anger towards people because they would, unknowing, allow for their emotions to become my problem.

There were moments I wouldn't even get out of bed. Then I would feel like a failure for not getting up and doing what I needed to do.

When im stressed or sad, even when feeling anxious, my body tend to be so much less functional. Like I get very lazy and dont want to move because of my emotions. I then tend to procrastinate and only Interested in whats going on in my mind.. That sucks. So, as for me, i get sick thru my physical motivation.. That sucks.. Being at school as a pisces mooner is really hard. Im doing it right now not easy. Keep it up.

The first time I was diagnosed with clinical depression it was so bad I was nearly catatonic. I couldn't make facial expressions, could barely speak, and I couldn't keep my chin from rolling down onto my chest. I don't want to scare you, but if this is a new feeling to you, you might want to talk to a professional. If it's something you're used to, carry on.

Thank you. But im doing fine. And that has been going on since a young age. I just dont want to move from my room, bed. For exemple. Somewhere where im confortable being on my own and alone.. If you get what i mean. Depression Im off that been a long time. Anxiety too its just sometimes when im sad and my emotions ugghh i just cant help it but procractinate..

Yeah, I get like that too. The catatonic thing only happened once, thankfully. The procrastination thing is a vicious cycle, because then you feel bad about yourself for not accomplishing things, plus you're probably not moving around and getting the exercise you need to make yourself feel better either. Ugh!!!

no. I was just wondering that more of us have complications with our Moon. I reactivated the thread then there was this vivid talk.

on the contrary Pisces Moon might be silent where it better throw all the content out.

It's a damn shame! Fogginess and clouds are so beautiful and so great for painting, but if I spend too much time around them I become moody and droopy. Colorado was the best place I've lived so far in terms of keeping me happy. It snows, but even then the sun shines.

I feel very at home near the ocean as well, but I've never lived on a coast. I loved places like this in Colorado.

Do you like to swim? I used to like to go to the bottom of the deep end of the pool, swim to the bottom, lay on the floor of the pool, and watch everyone swimming over me. I've been able to hold my breath upside down in a pool without using my hands for as long as I can remember swimming.

I LOVE TO SWIN its my main thing. I never swin like "professionals" do (my english is washy) like on top of the water and so fast - left right left right - if you know what im trying to say...

i swin under water and swim and swimm and swimmmmmm and ya when I was longer I always wanted to compete with my friends "whos gonna hold their breath longer under water" cause I knew i would win.

this is the place I always go swimming during summer time. 30 min away from home.

Yay! I see it now. It's beautiful. Rushing water is so...something, inspiring? Rolling waves are soothing. Still water can be a lot of things...depends on the temperature, where you are, how dark it is.

You sound so much like me. So weird. I wonder if it's just us or if it's a common Pisces moon thing. I always initiated those swimming contests with friends too. Sometimes I'd show off and swim to the other side and back before some people were finished. LOL And yes! Always underwater! I love diving too. And I love to watch diving and synchronized swimming. I actually joined a swim team and HATED it. BOOOOORING! It took all the fun right out of it.

of course would take all the fun out. We need freedom. And I do believe its pieces moon thing I once rebloged this on my tumblr dunno if youll feel the same but it spoke to me VERY MUCH ;

PISCES MOON

Those born with a Pisces Moon will often have strong psychic abilities. They find it easy to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes and are amazingly compassionate and full of love. Unfortunately, this capacity also makes it easy for them to lose themselves in others’ problems. They are natural romantics, and never forget a gift on Valentine’s Day or someone’s birthday.

They have a wonderfully silly sense of humor that some may find a bit off-base. Pisces Moon appears to know all the nuances of human behavior. They are easily amused. They may be labelled as “spaced out,” but they are deeper than most people think. They are easily misunderstood since they often get lost in their dreams. Without the time to drift, Pisces Moon can become overwhelmed with reality. They can easily become despondent by those around them if they are not careful.

BOOOOORING! It took all the fun right out of it.
of course would take all the fun out. We need freedom. And I do believe its pieces moon thing I once rebloged this on my tumblr dunno if youll feel the same but it spoke to me VERY MUCH ;
