this is a TV series,

based on a book by a Capricorn woman with Cancer moon, Libra Mars, Sagittarius Venus,

http://astro-charts.com/persons/chart/diana-gabaldon/

http://www.dianagabaldon.com/books/outlander-series/

I like the history aspect of it, but I don't like the part where she has to choose between two men and two different paths.

it became really famous/ good book for detail and historical education. (with some freedom of fictional characters placed in)

this couple, is a Taurus man with Libra woman, (main characters)

it reminds me of 50 shades of grey, Libra with Taurus.

they are the Venusian love,

Well, first of all, 50 shades presented a Gemini and a Virgo; secondly if you take away the popular appeal of the novel being romanticized and story oversold to the public, it is an unstable relationship between a woman with no notion of boundaries and a sadistic abusive top guy. The author has little to no notion as to what real life dom/sub relationships are like.

I remember my school principal in her 50s,reading Outlander about a decade ago, if not more. Probably got off on it instead of softporn. Midlife crisis square relationship issues.

there's a lot of love scenes in this film, I bet the book is full on romance love detail scenes. lol

He's Taurus, she's Libra.

she gives me a kind of Catherine Zeta Jones feel doesn't she?? Except I think Catherine Zeta Jones is better. lol

She's Libra sun/Pisces moon, Leo mars/Libra venus

and he's Taurus sun, Leo mars/ Scorpio moon/ Gemini venus. lol

oh the book she's Virgo? and he's Gemini?

I was thinking more the actor/actress. lol 😛 but maybe they have Gemini and virgo,

but yeah I can see the main character as Virgo, she's super shy and nerdy. haha and has a dark fetish side. 😄 😆

and he's Gemini? jeeez. Marquis De Sade was Gemini/virgo moon wasn't he?? 😆

Actually... I think both franchises do exactly what they were created for: deliver to mass female population exactly that - escape into dreamworld from own marriages, arrangements, and other relationship real life situations. Ostrich head in the sand effect.
I agree, but I don't think it's just for married women dreaming of another world wth another man. lol 😆

and in this case a more strapping virile man! 😆

it's also for single women too.

cause Twilight series, also sold for a lot of young teens and single women as well Dreaming and dreaming. 😛

oh it's so easy to placate the masses.

one thing I didn't like about this,

well actually several things I DISLIKE about this writer's thoughts.

SPOILERS..

she doesn't believe in showing RAPE with women (she has gotten her female main character OUT of the rape scenes she almost got raped a lot) but never EVER did she get raped once.

but with males she never wrote them getting rescued or anything. she just allowed the rape to be done without real rescue. but oh no it's unheard of to show rape or have an act of rape for the female main character. like she is not fair at all to a lot of stuff.

also another I DISLIKE about this series, is that the main character just doesn't seem to want to get out of the world and try very hard to get out of the world and back to her original husband. My husband didn't like the series and didn't watch it with me but he was looking over at some of the stuff passing by and asked why this and that. He was also annoyed with it, and wondered why?

I told him it's most likely to CATER to the female audience of wanting two men.

SPOILERS...

like gimme a break. she is the WRITER. she can write it where she can get rescued.

I guess it's what this article says..

great article written...to read!! for anyone who has seen the series already or read the books

http://www.vulture.com/2014/10/men-of-outlander-whom-should-claire-choose.html

"We’re here to discuss the men of Outlander, or the OutMANders, as you might call them. I’ve heard “Outmanders” is actually used to encourage men to watch Outlander, but I’d like to think it’s a reminder for me focus on the real issue at hand while watching the show: the two main men, a.k.a. Jamie Fraser and Frank Randall. Who is the best for our heroine, Claire Beauchamp? Whom should she choose? (Who would you like to see in more sex scenes?) To all you spoilsports, we’re coming from the no-book outlook, seven episodes into the first season — so we are so far unprejudiced by whatever it is to come that you book-readers might already be aware of.

If you've read the book, please don't spoil in the comments. Thank you.

Lindsey: Welcome, Tara. I hear you are Team Jamie, which I feel like is the obvious choice here.

Tara: Yes, I am Team Jamie. There is no other possible team, as far as I’m concerned. The solution is as simple as creating a bandage from a really hot man’s ripped shirt. Jamie all the way!

Lindsey: I don't know! I think Frank is still who she really wants. I can’t say I wasn’t "moved" by Jamie and Claire's wedding night (or by his backside), but Claire’s indecisiveness made me extremely uncomfortable. She literally holds up to her hands to look sadly at her two wedding rings! And I don’t think her new, sexy relationship with Jamie in any way diminishes her feelings for Frank. Jamie is the fantasy — the man on the cover of the romance novel. (Ha!) But don’t forget: She lies to Jamie at the end of "Both Sides Now" to run off when she sees Craigh na Dun in the distance.

Tara: Of course she’s conflicted — both men have been good to her in different ways. But in the long run, Jamie is the better match for Claire because their personalities are better suited to each other. In all of those 1940s scenes where Frank is taking Claire to libraries and archives managed by priests, you can just tell she’s bored and itching to get out. She wants to ride a horse through the Scottish countryside! The woman spent five years on battlefields, for Pete’s sake: She needs action.

I fell in love after the first book! Where is my Jamie? ?
Jamie is a sweet lad.

Ya know what, I would 100%

Christian Grey's allure is his archetype, the rich and stoic man that falls for you. Money is of no subject in his fantasy. (Not to mention his sexual escapades) the unattainable...

But Jamie Fraser.. o.m.g. *bite fist* first, she time travels back to him in like 1800's I think. It's a different time. He wasn't rich in money, but rich in passion! He was the epitome of strength and protection by personality alone. My God, buy the book! A hard man not to love.

"You are safe." He said firmly. "You have my name and my family, my clan, and if necessary, the protection of my body as well."

He fought for her. Really fought.

I just realized, the way she writes and wants ADVENTURE and loving two men and chasing down a more virile and adventurous man over a boring English man who is loyal,

she has a Sagittarius Venus/Libra mars combo.

http://astro-charts.com/persons/chart/diana-gabaldon/

she does have cancer moon, cap sun, but her needs of emotional love, are someone who is passionate,

but also must serve her Sagittarius venus and Libra mars combo.

because Jamie is very sweet and polite too. and very loving and passionate and adventuros.

all the things that serve her relationship planets. lol

plus her Sagittarius venus TRINES her Jupiter Aries. lmao. 😛

adventurous and passionate man dreamy.

oh my god......Authoress is Pisces sun/Aquarius Venus/Leo mars/Leo moon

http://astro-charts.com/persons/chart/e-l-james/

wanting the Unattainable. 😆 heehee!!

wealthy....powerful....money is no object

if only I read the book or watched the film,

I could figure out what stands out with that Christian Grey.

and what allure the Authoress loves about her main man.

edit,

I think that is the Pisces (she has a stellium in Pisces with Jupiter and Saturn there)

She wants someone who will CONTROL her.

also, that aquarius venus, adores a man with a mind of his own, independent and not into clinginess.

I wonder in the film was Chrsitian Grey aloof and not clingy??

I bet he was.

and that leo mars and leo moon...

she wants a wealthy man who can with money can afford all the goodies to her heart's desires,

and passionate!!! and nitty gritty hard core stuff. lol
