I won't lie, I was on edge for nearly the entire viewing. Awaiting his next move...and wondering who/what his next victim would be. I suspect this film was about raw human emotion/drive. I never read the book. It's called "Oil", right?

Was DDL's character gay? Just curious.

Superb acting across the board. I was specifically impressed with the kid from "Little Miss Sunshine". lol, loved the closing line too.

I like DDL, but this one was way too depressing and annoying. Most bad guys have something redeemable, his character had absolutely nothing.

I much liked him much better in *Gangs of New York* ..

hmm, pretty sorry point whichever way, not a good enough reason really. ..waste of film.

Again, Gangs of New York was so much better and enjoyable to watch.
