i want to go see this one big time....i thought i over heard a employee at blockbuster say it was a remake of an older movie omega something........
i love movies but hate to go alone though.......*sigh*
..can't wait to see it too. i saw the original black & white version recently; with Vincent Price. *Last Man On Earth* (1964). i think *Omega was another remake version, as well.
well its doing well at the box office so i guess we can just keep recycling old stories forever.lol
The remake was The Omega Man starring Charlton Heston back in the 70s. All the remakes have been based on the same book. I saw this movie a few days ago on my road trip. The book was more thorough and tried to put a more scientific view on Vampire lore. Whereas this movie was more Resident Evilish. Semi-Spoiler Below:
They changed the ending... I thought the movie was pretty good up until the end. I can't believe they went that route. That and poor Sam. I almost cried. All in all 5/5 stars because I love the Fresh Prince.
Lol...
Its a copy of the excellent 28days and 28 weeks.. nothing new about it.!
if you didn't appreciate Smith's phenomenal performance, you're an idiot.
The storyline of the movie was pretty good, but I thought the movie was disappointing. You've got a director who use to direct music videos, now directing a big budget movie. The movie was just a little too short and the ending sucked. There was room for much improvement.

Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.
Will Smith almost brought me to tears, not once, but thrice. His performance was comparable to Tom Hank's in "Castaway".
I will watch this again. Not at the theatre, but again.
