I didn't care for bits of it...
I didn't mind the devotion and faith part of it b/c I knew it was christian movie when I watched
Things that bothered me
That she had to ask her husband to help her sister when she had her own money and her own job
That prayer fixes everything... Faith with out work is dead...
she stay with her husband despite
him cheating on her,
not being a good father,
doing illegal activies that could have cause them to lose their house
possibly get him landed in jail
I understand that he changed but only after he lost everything... But still wedding vows say for better or for worse not when I have nothing I'll love you... But if I get any type of money, power or success I will treat you like garbage -_-

Posted by Cancan26i wish that too!!!
Yes I wished it happened like this more in real life... 😢

Posted by Cancan26I understand exactly where you're coming from but I have to remember I want God to forgive me for all my mistakes so how could I have a list of things I deem unforgivable? I'm working on myself but my list still stands lol.

Posted by tizianii thought that was weird.
I liked when she started reacting to him in a patient way and he had no idea what was going on, switching the dinner plates in fear that she's trying to poison him.

I enjoyed the message behind it in those scenes. Basically if someone just remains open, and responsive without reacting - then the partner really becomes powerless to think of any kind of response/defence and everyone is forced to look at what they really want.
The film overall was cheese and pretty bad, but I always love bad cheesy films so it's right up my alley.
Him looking to get more money, well he works in sales. At the beginning when his boss asked how he was doing, the boss didn't ask "how's the family?" zero interest in his personal life. He just said "you'll have a bonus cheque". If your workers are trained to believe they're worth is entirely motivated by money then they're going to want more money, to feel worthy as men.
In the end his wife disarmed him from thinking that way with ten times less effort than arguing, and that's very cool.
I thought the boss could have said something like "you're the first person to come back, so I'm going to have a closer look at how I run my POS company because you've made me think" but instead he just gave a big speech about forgiveness.
Making a pharmaceuticals CEO a moral arbiter of the film is over the top, but I can live with it.

great for those who are religious too,
and about a selfish egotistical husband who won't even give some extra money to his wife's sister who has a husband who doesn't work and they are struggling, while he makes ALOT of money to cover if he wanted but he's so selfish.
and about her being ANGRY all the time.
i really like this film this will make you CRY. it's really beautiful.
