Star Wars: Rogue One (Spoiler free)
Let's see how the Mass Effect movie fares.......personally I have zero hopes of a decent story.
There's a Mass Effect coming out?
I actually had little expectations for this one since The Force Awakens fell through the cracks, but this one is worth seeing.

It was alright. Kylo Ren killed it for me. And the scene where he fights Ray was wretched.
But Rogue One is quite spectacular, I will definitely watch it again.
First ones as in original three...4-6? Or 1-3?
Rogue One was just...awesome!
I'm guessing it's just one prolonged 2 hour action scene?

Saw it. No dog in this fight. Havent read other reviews or opinions. Was pretty much an extended action scene to me though. Better than the last....and that robot was decent comic relief....

Tough critic. What about it did you not like?
Was a redemption from the last one indeed. I'd say K2SO and Chirrut were the stars of the show. A win for minor characters.
the force awakens was just a bunch of scenes and images stolen from the original trilogy and pieced together.
The whole movie felt like a really expensive cosplay demo with special effects.

A tad too politically trendy for my tastes, not enough breaks in the action so too one note, and I thought the Force/Jedi element was too sparse. I liked it overall though. Some cool characters....the old blind dude and his buddy for instance.....

It is meant to make you feel like you are part of the war, galactic war. What war do you know entails 'breaks' between them?
Didn't like it at all. Star Wars is totally killing my love for it too. Way too much jumping around.

I thought it was amazing at times, hard to follow at others, and atrocious occasionally...but mainly, action and graphics arent really that interesting... it's nice for a second and then it's like well so what? What makes a movie interesting is psychology, psychological tension, subtle hidden meanings etc..who cares about 2 second visuals?

I just came back from seeing it and wow! it was pretty good!
I'd say it was at least as good as Empire. Possibly the best star wars movie to date.
They finally got rid of all the neverending references and hommages to the old movies and delivered a solid story.
The best movie of 2016 for me.
Only some minor drawbacks I can think of : the whole movie was pretty dark and I could barely make out the actors sometimes and the CGI faces (tarkin and leia) are really too creepy. I'd rather they didn't show Leia's face at all.

whoever wants to see it, don't bother with the 3D version.
There was barely one scene where i noticed the 3D effect, and the movie is rather dark and the 3D glasses make it even darker

We also downloaded the Warcraft movie and are gonna watch it too ?
Let me know how that goes. I become wary when games get turned into movies.

Just saw it and it is really freaking good. Most sideline stories don't fair well, but this movie was impressive.
I'd tweak one thing though...
