Tears for Fears - Pretty much like all of there songs atleast the ones that I know of, especially Shout and Pale Shelter.

Blondie - One of those groups that have grown on me in the last couple of years by being around others who like them.

Rush - Another group that has grown on me. Before I knew who Geddy Lee was I always thought the lead singer was a woman. Good Bassist though.

Anyone else have secret favorites that you wouldn't admit to liking in front of your friends?

Nice picks...

Hey I know where this is leading. First you email each other, then you start calling each other on the phone, then one of you flies across the country to go meet the other, then you move in together, then Phoenix gets pregnant, then you have no choice but to marry. And live happily ever after! 🙂

Well, if I happen to be right about what I just said. Don't forget to send invitations to everyone at dxpnet. Especially me. hahaha

lol. You guys are funny.

Alright, can someone name a well-known song that Rush has done? I'm not sure I'm familiar with who they are.

Love Blondie's old hits. Parallax - I hate it when they take a good old song and use it in an over-played commercial. You know the car ads where they're using Led Zeppelin's "Rock & Roll"? Now, whenever I listen to my Zeppelin, and I hear that song, I think of that commercial! lol, it really bugs me. It's so wrong.

Um...definitely a little embarrassed to admit that I really like Michael Jackson's old songs. lol. I know he's not a "band", but you know. "Beat It", is just phenomenal. lol. And I was in love with him when I was little, so you have to cut me some slack. lol.

Let's see...I like those guys who did "My Sharona". I like/d Annie Lennox, in The Eurythmics. I really really like Elton John's old stuff, which I would have a hard time admitting to most of my friends in my daily life. lol. But you know, it's kind of hard to hide it when "Rocket Man", or "Bennie & The Jets" or "Tiny Dancer" comes on the radio in the car, or wherever and I have to nod my head to the music, or sing really quietly hoping no one will notice. 😛

Haha, I just thought of another...I like the Bangles. Or is it the Bengals? The chicks who did "Walk Like an Egyptian". 😛

Also...alright, this is definitely the most embarrassing one...I like a lot of what Cher's done. lol! I'm going to hide now. Well, I mean, "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" is just brilliant. lol. And I love that crazy over the top vibrato thing she does. 😛 (I'm going to go hide under a rock, now)

I guess the official line is drawn at Barbara Streisand. Can't get any worse than that.

Here are some more of mine...The Psychadelic Furs, The Kinks, never really liked Duran Duran but they had this really good song in the early 90's called "Ordinary World," and since Parallax just admitted he liked Donny and Marie I think it's safe for me to admit that I liked Bryan Adams.

Yeah yeah yeah, your trick worked Parallax. I hope your pleased!

Yeah I love those Cheap Trick songs. They also had some good cover songs in the late 80's. They kind of reminded me of the cars a little bit but I liked Cheap Trick better.

Speaking of Paul McCartney doing dance music. Do you remember that song he did with Michael Jackson? I think it was called "Say Say Say". I kinda liked that song, probably the only Michael Jackson I liked.
Ok, what's your most favorite album of all time?

Mine:
Artisti: Eagles

I'm so excited! It's September 2nd at the Britt Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon. I hope he sings some old stuff...like..."Octopus's Garden"...or just anything from the Beatles. He's such a cutie pie! I hope he drums.

I went thru a stage...in high school...need I say more? I liked the guy & the band a great deal and thought they were pretty revolutionary in what they were saying. I may not hold him/them in such high esteem these days, but I definitely think that he/t

I like him quite a bit. His voice is *extremely* soothing to me...I am immediately calm when I hear his music. Does anyone else like him?

Imagine it's summer, or spring, or hey, even fall. If you were going to take the *ideal* road trip, what sort of music would you compile and take with you? What kind of music would you want to blast with the top down? If you're like me, and don't have
