I've seen this with Pisces over and over again but I had a talk with my Pisces friend this Sunday and I'm curious if you people can relate to it.

Pisces: "Do you ever have the idea that people are on a different plane than you are?"
Virgo : "What do you mean exactly?"
Pisces: "I'm disconnected from them. Even from those I've known for years"
Virgo: "I see"
Pisces: "People run into me on the street and they wave and say hi and I wonder "Do I fucking know you?" "
Virgo: "Are these people only acquaintances?"
Pisces: "No, I even get it with family at times. I saw my mother wave from across the street the other day and again I was like "Who exactly is this woman?""
Virgo: "LOL, you probably aren't tuned into them?"
Pisces: "I don't know, I feel nothing"

Made me ponder on the topic about Pisceans being unplugged.

What you described with your example could be a mild form of Prosopagnosia or face blindness, a neurological condition.

"The condition is estimated to affect around 2.5 per cent of the population, and it's common for those who have it not to realise that anything is wrong. "In many ways it's a subtle disorder," says Heather. "It's easy for your brain to compensate because there are so many other things you can use to identify a person: hair colour, gait or certain clothes. But meet that person out of context and it's socially devastating."

"Some part of their brain was recognising the face," says Duchaine, but the brain was failing to pass this information into higher-level consciousness". (Brain, doi.org/fzmqgz).

Im the opposite. My Virgo rising and I notice everythinggg.

However if I am like at the store or somewhere, I will try and pay attention to nobody so I can get in and get out and if I happen to see someone I don't want to run into I will try and look distracted by the latest cut of beef. But thats totes different.

That's such a Virgo thing to do.

I can relate ... in fact, I ponder such things nearly every (spare) minute I have for such imaginings. However, my experience is much different in that my Virgo is extremely open-minded, as compared to a lot of his kind, and not only WOULD he understand this, he already does realize my awareness of it's accuracy.

Damnata, you have to think beyond it to get it. Like for example, your friend said, "Do I fucking know you?" and your mind automatically contemplates this personally ... whereas, it's meant on a much broader term.

Do you ever know anyone? Really? Or, do you only know what someone wants you to know about them. You only know how to interpret, or judge according to your perception of how you would measure a situation if it happened to you .... but, that's not who or how they are - that's how YOU are if you experienced it.

Oh, if that's what he meant, then yeah...I see his point. Hmm..I'll have to talk about this with him. I tied it into him forgetting faces easily and I focused on that. Mind expansion time..now.

I was actually posting about this the other day I think..how we don't really know people, more like feel what they're on about based on whatever feeling they elicit in us. From that mindset, we only know projections, like seeing shadows but not the real person that casts the shadow.

I remember when I was young there was that object, a circular tube called a kaleidoscope I think and I'd stare in it at the glass particles and every small movement would switch the shapes and the patterns. Same with people in my mind.

With his mother, well apparently it was a narrow street and he was going to work while she was coming back from the grocery store or something. He might've been in a rush..I didn't take that into account.

He does recognize the facial features and somehow he knows who they are but he cannot relate to them emotionally.

It's like a face in a billion other faces in the crowd. A stranger.

I understand what he means here.

It's not that it's impossible to relate to how another person is or feels ... it's that, you can't let yourself be lowered to small-mindedness of the vast majority of people. It's hard to explain.

Let me try this approach ..... you can walk on a busy city street and pass 100 people - but, only one, if any, realizes the trees of the forest are only specks. So, why bother to want to relate.

There's no anger, or insanity .... people's consciousness are existing on different planes at this moment. You realize every other person as they co-exist - but only the physical vessel they reside in is the same. People, the vast majority of people, can ONLY comprehend their ego/material plane .... so why should he bother to be connected to them?
