......who found it kind of sad when The Creature From The Black Lagoon gets killed by shotgun fire in "The Monster Squad?"

Creature represents the extremely dark side of the Bad Fish Club.

However, I think he gets a really bad rap.

Just imagine if he were a more handsome representative of our people.

Do you think he would have been shot then, or perhaps he would have been arrested instead?

At least give him the chance of criminal rehabilitation!

Yes, but Phoebe did throw Scraps to him just before the vortex pulled him into limbo.

Please consider renting the Blu Ray sometime.

It contains interviews with the cast and crew some 20 years after production ended, and all the wonderful things they have to say about the film are great to hear.

For example, the guy who played Frankenstein refused to behave like anything other than Frankenstein when he was around the children, and Phoebe really liked that.

Remember the part where Dracula grabbed Phoebe and said, "Give me the amulet you *****!" Phoebe had never seen Dracula up close with his fangs on and red eyes before, and the scream she let out as a response was genuine. She really was scared of him, and the scream only required one take, haha!

They really did have a lot of fun making that film, which is always great to know. I wish all films would be that way.

Oh, and one last thing.

The scene where the cops are beating up Creature with batons? The guy in the Creature costume couldn't see ANYTHING, so he was basically wailing his arms around blindly and accidentally hit one deputy in the head so hard that he cut the guy's head and blood came out! Scary!!!
