Are female Pisces really too emotional?

I am a female Pisces and I love being in love and being able to express my feelings (good and bad). It makes me feel more secure in my relationships.

A male Sagittarius told me that female Pisces are dangerous because they can be angelic and pure one minute and then turn into a fire breathing devil the next minute. Luckily, we are just "real good friends", otherwise he might see that "other side".

Is there anything wrong with a female Pisces just wanting to give a little love and expect the same in return?

I've known plenty of people that are other signs that can do this too, so you're friend is using a huge generalization. The most emotional sign I've ever met is Aries. Every one of them I've ever met is a bit of a nightmare emotionally and they change moods from minute to minute.

Communication about feelings is important to all women, not just Pisces. And something that most men, even the more sensitive abhor talking about. Cause they are from that other planet. 😉

I know a female pisces and she's not emotional at all. That's my job.

I agree with Sweet-P completely...I hate the way being emotional is seen as a weakness by some more "removed" signs. To me...if we speak only with regards to astrology (which is not all of life, I realize, but for purposes of this discussion I'm speaking only in terms of it and nothing else)...each of the ruling elements of the signs is equally important, and should be seen as such by people born under all signs. Without Water enlightening Earth to the more emotionally-based facets of life, Earth would be missing out on a lot, and the same goes for Earth balancing the emotional turbulence of Water. Air contradicts Water, forcing it to be more objective and not so subjective; Water makes Air learn to not be so dispassionate. Fire and Water interact in a dramatic way, with the Fire sign being more mentally passionate and the Water sign being more emotionally passionate; each teaches the other about the different kinds of passion one can have.

I'm not a Pisces, I'm a Scorpio, but I fully understand how difficult it can be dealing with signs that while they may or may not be as intelligent, they sometimes condescend when I turn a conversation on its flipside to show them the opposite (emotional) way too look at things. It's a conflict of whether logic is or is not "better" as a tool for going through one's life.

yes, speak ur emtions, its much more healtly. write potery or just keep a simple jot of what happened today. no, not all picies female are over emtional. it really depends ont he person. i'd have too say though most of our emitons is what we feel from other people. the reason i'm always seemed confused is that there's more going on then i can read not that i feel overloaded i just feel confused. more then one thing, less of union. i'm sure that's happened too some. tuf, don't take it heart as much. explain too him if uall want to be closer as friends both of u all need to know ur good and bad sides. 'cause someday u may let people know and see how bad and better to know what it is and how to contain it too much if nesscarry then a rambage of ur bad side. Friends are lifelines to life, use them.

Everyone is right. I don't want to think of myself as being too emotional, but so many things happen in my life that it feels like I am on a roller coaster and every turn or bend is bringing some unknown force into my life and I, of course, have to react...even if it is emotionally.

I react with my emotions first, then act from the head, but if I didn't use my feelings, then they would go to waste. Why waste all of the inner strength that we have all been given. It's there. Use it for the taking. Besides, it makes you a better person.

that was great! I've always felt like we were put on this earth for a godgiven reason, something more neaningful than the day-to-day routine. I tried explaining this to some friends and felt like a total dumbass cause everyone looked at me pretty funny with a confused look on their face.
Sweet-P you definitely described how I've been feeling for the past 5 years.

Thanks to all who appreciated and it brightened my day to brighten yours. Im a true Pisces to the P with a scorp rising I call it my double water whamy. (sound familar James?) Also hate to admit I have a few years on some of you. BUT these years have given me plenty of time to work on my Pisces ways. The piece came from a site called Legends of the Zodiac. I collect pieces like this all the time its kinda like having a Chicken Soup for the Pisces Soul and I would be more then happy to share them. Clownfish, I want to thank you so much for that inspirational saying. Being the true Pisces that I am, I was feeling like an sponge that had absorbed so much of everything until I felt I needed to get a humungous hug in order to release the momentum. That gave me the hug I was looking for.
