I hear this complaint about Pisces a lot. Our minds tend to spiral out of control if we're not engaged in a project. As I a child I was extremely energetic and coudn't sit still. What helped me was to have something to focus on - reading, paint, coloring books, draw, puzzles, board games, yoga. My parents started me on yoga when I was 4. It helped me to stay balanced not to mention limbre. Pisces have a better sense of emotional balance when developing both sides of the brain. Most Pisces child I observe love to interact with adults more than children.

Does he show an interest in music?

Thank you for the advice. He is alot like all that everyone has described.

Catfish, I've always tried to sit him down to color and draw, but he has no interest. That lasts a whole 5 minutes. Interest in music? Not a lot. He loves what ever I listen to. And he does love to interact with adults. He thinks he's an adult sometimes! LOL

Deezie, we got in into to T-ball. That didn't work out to well. He was to distracted. He would sit down and play in the dirt rather than play the game. I thought maybe soccor would be more his pace. You know, always going! I have to wait for sign ups.

I tell ya, I wish his school had some sort of drama program. Maybe in Jr. High. His imagination is bigger than him! He is quite self entertained. Maybe I'm jumping the gun. But as all moms, I just want what is best for him. I thank you all for your replies!!!!!

Oh yeah also my aqua brother had ADHD and chess was surprisingly one of the few things to keep him interested, including over baseball, etc. Its not so much that you have to give them something to physically do 24/7,you can simply mentally captivate them and keep them interested by an ever changing outcome, stratagies, etc. such as with games and puzzles. Also pretty much anything can be used to explain anything else in comparison as a "help" point that he may switch out by the normal way to explain something. If you find a trouble spot look for an interest of his that can be used in comparison to help him get it or at least interest him long enough by using his already interest so he can actually learn it to pass tests or whatever.

Otherwise,Im cautious with using drug with ADHD kids now due to the side effects the ones my brother took had on him. He's bi-polar now in the worst stage tending towards homocidal and sucidal tendancies. The drug also put him at risk of becoming skitzo.

Well,it won't happen to every kid whos on a medication for it,its if theres the smallest little bit of the other disorders already being there. So yeah, theres a chance your nephew won't have that problem if the other two aren't already underlaying the ADD.It will make the other two disorders come out stronger and take over basically. The people that prescribe it need to take more precaution with passing it out to every kid they suspect or does have it without checking for the other disorders first is the thing.

Otherwise, the other kids I've seen on it,with the drugs they're usually "under"active for kids thier age.Kinda see it as trading in a highly intelligent child who happens to get bored easily for one who sits there and does what they're told when the drugs are involved.ADD kids are smarter than other kids which is why they are hyper cause thier mind normally gets bored and wants to go off and figure something out,in short.Think its more the teachers can't keep up with teaching those kids in my opinion, thier minds are sponges gone full out so once they "get it" they're bored and won't focus on it since its not new anymore.

"Most Pisces child I observe love to interact with adults more than children."

That was exactly how I was. Almost all of my friends when I was 10 were adults. I belive I could be considered very active. It was like that until they brought me a computer. Computer took all my attention and I left every activity that I did before. Yeah computer physically slowed me down, but not mentally. I think slowing us down mentally is not possible.

If you ask me wether I would chose to go with computer or the life I had before it? I would chose life without a computer. Computer was interesting, but it has it's own limits. When those limits are reached, getting back in old life style is hard. I belive I would be much much more resourceful person if computer wasn't being given to me.

So Juwanpala, I personally think that no matter how scary it may seem our activity level, this is who we are. Deal with it. You would do only better, if you could play along. If you cannot, well too bad for you. But you are Scorp, which means you are mentally very compatible with Pisces, so I'm sure you can play along.

Haffo,

As an adult, I have known only one Pisces. He and I where compatible and very intuitive towards each other. Almost psychic. I can deal with a pisces. But I am only being a concerned parent right now. He has only been in school 2 weeks and been sent home with 2 discipline reports already. I think it's because he is a little hyper and needs that 'little something extra' from the teacher. But unfortunatly, the teach does not or can not give it. So, this is why I am trying to get some friendly pisces advice. He and I play checkers, yatzee, do homework, read....mentally I am capable. But not always available.

I can deal! I would just like to know what you pisces children where like and hopefully relate without going to extremes. And basically what most of you are saying is to spend quality time with him and give him things to focus his mind on. You are already helping without even knowing it. Thank you!

Its possible that its the teacher if hes been sent home with 2 discipline reports already for just being hyper. For 6,thats what 1st grade? The teachers normally have them playing and stuff to learn at that grade level anyways.I'd see if you could go and sit with him in class to see whats going on.My pisces sister is also maybe cosidered a "bad" kid too(if the teacher were to not have much patience or doesn't really like kids) but her teachers think its cute cause shes does have some points with what she tells them. One asked where she lived or something and she in turn basically told them its none of thier business cause she didn't know them.Shes basically just a little smartass.

Can someone cut it short?
What is the best man for Pisces females?

It seems that these ladies will end up alone because no man is good enough for them?

Aries: too selfish and will hurt her feelings
Scorpoi: too jealous and e
