How does pisces deal with a break up?

There's three ways we go about it...
1. And the most uncommon way, we walk away as if we don't even care, and we get over it really quickly because in truth, it didn't matter or we saw it coming so it does really hurt.

2. We completely shut the person out of our lives and pretend they don't exist, in a way trying to give a bit of revenge, but when hey try coming back we either show them what we're made of (the shark comes out) continue to ignore them and hurt even worst, or completely lose our dignity and beg for them back

3. We try to keep I going. We cry our eyes out and pour our hearts out to the person we lost of someone else. We lose ourself in the deep end of emotions and can't find our way back, and even if others don't notice so much, the people close to us do, we get depressed and completely lose our identities. This I'd say, is the most common reaction, at least for the Pisces I know. For me it's the first, I hurt but get over it quickly. I used to do this though and cry for a long long time. I've only just found my way out of the ocean and back to the shallow end. I'm not going back in there though, it's too painful.

Pisces. "ok" or not even a response. swimms away.......

Pisces already knows from a long time ago where the relationship was going anyways, if anyone thinks they can get us by surprise if they say the "break up word"... they are very wrong.


OP if the Pisces is crying is more because - well yeah it hurts it didn't workout. He'll be ok soon. 🙂

Exactly. We know the future, I'm pretty sure of it, we know the future with everything, but it's the fact that we live in an imaginary world (our daydreams, out hopes, and the things we truely want) and because of the things they want, they disregard what's real and try to make their imagination come to life, they try hard, but they know no matter what they do,bit won't work like that (that's why they can end up needy or clingy and sometimes obsessed) but in the end, they're become cold like ice, not because you hurt them, no, they were hurt the whole time....it's because they realized their greatest dreams didn't come true. That is why a Pisces get hurt so badly. Yes, Pisces love very deeply, but the real reason they love so much is because of the imagination they give to it. The creativity. I've been there, I've been hurt badly. You either need to give in to their imagination and just go with it to make their deepest dreams come true...or you need to completely let go and let them cry a few yrs until they get a new dream.

Yeah but let's be real there's also the part where Pisces will pop back around to see if you've noticed whether they are gone - deciding they're not really done yet until they're done. So no, I don't believe anyone can see the future.

It's just a very defensive sign - that's the only thing to do with swimming away, and if you can try to be more considerate to a Pisces' sensitivities then you stand a better chance at a happier life.

Amen. I ALWAYS swim back. Always. Always always. I can't express that enough. Always. I care too much not to, even if I move on, I still care. But I don't know. We are so in tune with other people, we might as well become everyone we talk to, and because of that we know what people are feeling, how they're thinking, what they're most likely to do next,Lowe just choose not to listen to it. We want to change it, and we always get hurt.

I think the fems are different than the males in this regard, then.


I don't swim away to punish anyone. I swim away for my own benefit, because I have had more than enough of an individual for my lifetime. So I feel no reason to see if they've missed me... because I don't care about their feelings. If I did, I wouldn't swim away in the first place.

This happened to me with the bestie. We still haven't talked and that's probably why and I accept that. I believe this more than that "We know the future because we're like so magical and fishy and looove so deeply" bs. LOL

It depends with me, but I've done a whole range of things.

-I've iced out and blocked someone who left me (he used me, then left me, and tried to come back). He's been blocked and forgotten for almost 10 years and I never see myself wanting to swim back in that direction. Haven't even cared to look up his chart since (wasn't interested in astro when I was with him). I'm just done done done done with that one.

-There's one I swam from even though I really didn't want to. But had to for my own sanity. The relationship was dragging on while he was no longer making any kind of investment in it or me anymore. Loved him like crazy and still miss him sometimes. Were together about 9 months, has taken me a good 4 months to get over him. He's a leeb/scorp cusp. Still tempted to reach out to him sometimes but I got too much pride and self-respect for that.

-Then there's another leeb I've remained friends with for about 8 years - he never hurt me, I hurt him, I was young and foolish. So no need to swim or ice him out since I was in the wrong.

-Then there was one I had an on-off relationship with for 2.5 years, a Leo. So not exactly swimming away and not coming back.

Point is: it really depends on the type of relationship, the connection and love shared, and what the ending was liked. So our reaction really depends imo.
