How would you describe an unhealthy relationship? - the opposite of the above, plus controlling, manipulation

How do you typically deal with break-ups? - I've never been dumped. Always the dumper. It still takes a toll on me since I like keeping people in my life and I really value their positive traits. I don't like being friends with them since I would always feel like I hold some sort of power over them, which I don't. So, it's best to say good bye. After that, it's all mental strength and will power, which I have quite a lot of.
