The reason why you are what you are today is because of what you did yesterday. If you do not want to be same tomorrow, do something different today. Break the loop.

Might sound stupid and easy, but sometimes we enter into loops that we do not even realise. These are good for instant reality check.

Umm..that doesnt make much of sense. Doing something scary means doing something you do not understand. If you do something you do not understand, then you can make a big mistake.

I think some moderation is still required. Maybe I do not understand something incompletely? Maybe there is no such a thing as "scary" thing, because this is what we think after all?

yeah, sometimes people can get into ruts they don't realize. Some people are more comfortable with routine, if that's what they like. Breaking out of your comfort zone, is good; but do something that you've always been interested in, anyway. You could suprise yourself.

Your mother is a very very wise lady.....Sweet-P:-) and it's certainly rubbed off well on you lady:-)....and no Haffo - "scary" in this sense does not mean something you don't understand...it's means something that you do fully understand but up until now lacked the courage or the "bottle" to give it a try in case you failed or others thought you were coo-coo!!!! It doesn't matter one cent what others think of you....just as thought in their heads....all that matters is what you think of yourself:-) - so I'm off now to do something I've never done before - stretch out of my comfort zone! and into "discomfort but unexplored territory zone!!":-0)...let you know later how it turns out SP:-)

alas Sweet-P is was something quite mundane and boring!!!!...it's the tale of a middle-sized dog that hated me!!!.....every day going home from work, there's this dog who runs snarling after me, bares his teeth, tries to bite me etc....so for ages now I have been going round the long way in order to avoid the wrath of this certain canine!!!! and bloody missing my bus all the time.....the strange thing is he loves everyone else and everyone thinks he is adorable.....I think I irked him the first day by walking past when he was chewing on his bone and he thought i was after it!!!! (and I mean his food!!:-0 not the other type of bone!!!!) - so yesterday on the way home, I armed myself with biggest umbrella possible (for all you dog-lovers out there, don't read on!!!!) - I enter his territory and sure enough out he comes out of his gate all snarls and head-butts.....I gave him two whacks on the snout and in my sternest voice eye-balled him and said don't you ever dare run after me again you silly mutt!!! He gave a little whimper and retreated in his garden.....this morning I passed that way again.....he just sat on his step when he saw me.......he ignored me and I ignored him........maybe one day, we'll get to a "doggy- style " friendship level.....but for now I can live with his ignoring me:-)

Gosh, I gotta get a life......
